Nothing wrong with Halo 4.
It's a competitive market, there are heaps of great games competing for gamers attention. I'm currently playing Mass Effect 1 - 3 at the moment, but I will be going back to Spartan Ops and big map slayer when I'm done with Shepard.
Halo is still a huge franchise, but there are a lot of great games out there old and new, exclusive and multiplatform.
Get into them!
I don't care either way. As I will be keeping my current gen console as well as a next get system.

I do the same thing with the rechargeable energizer batteries. So I like the external battery set up as well.
Just improve the d pad and leave it at that. The 360 controller is nearly perfect in my opinion.

And I have to agree with your veiw on Bungie. They gave us all so much with their work on Halo, in my opinion they earned the right to go independent.

In my opinion, Microsoft won't be announcing anything Xbox 3 related until they see what Sony dose with the PSN business model.
MS are under increasing customer pressure to allow online gaming without charging a subscription, with PSN often used as an example of how it could/should be done. I think that MS are waiting to see if Sony goes full pay to play or continue to offer free basic online play.
As an Xbox fan I hope Sony stick to their guns on this on...

I argee regarding your opinion with Fable. I think we all know what that IP could be.
I hope that Lionhead becomes a better focused studio without Peter M's wild ideas and input.
I feel that the Fable IP has just worn out it's welcome this gen. Core gamers have all but turned their back on it since Fable 3 and the Journey.
Satrt fresh with a new Fable next gen.
I can not wait to see what Black Tusk is working on.
Rumour is that Lionhead are working on a new MMO IP, but I would love to see a next gen Fable 4 as well.
Both Sony and Microsoft will be fine for first party exclusives. Sony have always been strong in this area, and Microsoft have built a lot of new studios from the ground up.
I expect Microsoft's first party output to be much better next gen then this.
3rd party exclusives are all but dead thankfully.

First of all I don't think MS are buying Epic.
But if they did why would they cut other platforms from licensing the unreal engine? I would have assumed that would be the main reason for buying the company in the first place.

Some bad calls all round from what I read from this.
This guy wants Rare to make a Perfect Dark game that plays like Halo. Why would MS want that? They already have a FPS that plays within a sandbox environment, and it sells bucket loads.
OK what about a dark fairytale in the mould of Fable? Why would Microsoft want this when they already own Fable? Why make the same game from two different studios?
