well maybe you should go to settings and turn it on, even before in game xmb came out , tehre was a message in the upperright corner whenever u recieved one.
dude don't even start, at least we don't have to listen to a jet engine while were playing a game, or have to worry about our consoles scraching the disc if it stands a certain way, i'd like to see XBL free and see how far Microsoft would be
to me it only seems laggy when i access in game XMB when the orange light is blinking,when i'm just sitting in a lobby and pull it up it's not , for me ne ways
did you happen to turn off ur ps3 while it was updating, ha, that sucks, my friend did the same thing, updating, his power went out, lost every ting,(suprisingly his ps3 still worked after)
yeah i have same opinion, didn't this happen to the psn store when it got revamped and icons didn't show? after the 3rd day the new store was up it worked flawlesly for me, just needs a little settling in

hey blowstuff up. i'm almost positive it won't help to download another firmware, unless the firmware is restricting BD lens to read, but i doubt it. call sony. the same thing happened to me. but now i get the 8001050F. getting it fixed for free,even though its out of warranty. one of the supervisors i talked to said the ps3 had a short expected life. i'm like, is that why sony is trying to run 10 years on just the ps3, lol.
