As I said before. There are people who will generally hate any Sonic platforming game just because it's 3D. If it's not a Genesis style Sonic game it's irrelevant and trash game to them.

it is for the developers otherwise they wouldn't be trying to get Sony to accept it.

A multiplatform game that has online need to have cross-play otherwise there no point of having it on multiple system creating multiple servers.
if that the case then why doesn't Puyo Puyo Tetris has cross-play or any other multiplats shared between the Switch and PS4.
One game =/= Sony okay with Crossplay with Nintendo
and I see nothing about DQX cross-play on Switch and PS4 on google.

it been in development since late 2014-early 2015 before Xenoblade Chronicles X released in Japan.
Monolith Soft said it base off the same engine and started before it went gold. So that is why it coming this year and that the development was a lot easier for them and having no online multiple as speed up the process.
