Both games are doing something different, under the visual aspect.
As it seem, there is a lot more environmental destruction going on in CrackDown compared to DaysGone. Also, CrackDown to my knowledge, isn't meant to be a survival, or "serious" type of game. So far, none of the videos in CrackDown has gorey situations, nor is it set in a postapocalyptic setting.
Both games are catering to two completely different audiences.

I played in a modded lobby in "Rust", that did BR before I even heard of a Pubg or Fortnite, just to think about it, I played that match a week or so after buying rust in 2015.
One of the main reasons why Bad Company 2 was so loved by its community. Is due to the level of destruction caused by 24-32 player matches. Most levels were completely flattened by the end of a round/match.
Why?
Because of entertaining level design, etc.
So neither does, smaller player counts make a game automatically more fun.
Resistance 2 at 60 player matches, was more entertaining than Resistance 3's 16 player ...
I'd like to point out an error. Bloodborne is still a PS exclusive title, its being streamed from PS hardware, akin to PSP, PSVita, and select smart devices being able to stream PS titles via Remote Play/PS Now.

Xbox exclusives can be played and scaled up on a platform thats NOT restricted to locked hardware.
The best place to play Xbox exclusives is on PC.
Whereas the best place to play PS titles is on PS4 pro, so far.

Why not create a legit primary account, and use his as a secondary account?
You can still play his titles with your primary account, and to make matters better you already changed the email on his account to one of yours. So you'll always have his former download list at your disposal.
