I watch too much tv and I haven't seen an ad for KZ2 yet. They need serious advertising for this game, good sales, and a price-cut for the PS3 if they want to continue to compete during a recession in the US and a weak global economy.
Some advice on the message about items being "too complicated".
The best thing to do when that happens is to break things down into smaller pieces. It can be a pain sometimes, but it will save you a lot of trouble in the course of creating a level. Believe me, I've made three levels and that happened during the first two. After breaking down larger objects into smaller pieces, I never got that message again.
That sh*t was bad*ss.
Well i've never been a fan of FPS's, mainly because I suck at them and am a bit color-blind so it's always difficult for me to tell who the good guys and bad guys are in most games when they just have a red or green dot over their head, but I was considering getting this game because of all the hype it's had for so long.
After reading this article it looks like i'll pass. If this game is on the more difficult side as they say, then it will just frustrate the crap outta me and i...
yeah i'm not too keen on paying for DLC in Home when it's still in beta. I'm thinking they could take away all that stuff we paid for at some point in the future.
Great fun, new trophies, great online multiplayer action, adds tons of new options to level creation. And anyone who doesn't but the DLC can still play the MGS levels with others and also user-created levels.
Well worth it!!! The Paintonator is genius and shows what potential LBP has for the future.
Check out my level "Paint This!". It's short and simple but shows what can be done with the new DLC.

How the f**k do people figure out how to do this? They must have a good understanding of mechanical engineering at the very least!
It takes me hours just to get a friggin' switch to do just what i want it to sometimes lol
Also, how the hell did that this guy---> http://www.gametrailers.com... make the Gradius level in LBP? I still can't figure it out.
My home sweet home, Bodymore, Murderland!
Nice.
I've gotten about eight different error messages and still haven't been able to get in.
Timed out error.
Boot error.
Eula run error.
And multiple others I can't rmember.
I'll try again tomorrow.
-verb (used with object)
1. to commit piracy upon; plunder; rob.
2. to take by piracy: "to pirate gold."
3. to use or reproduce (a book, an invention, etc.) without authorization or legal right: "to pirate hit records."
4. to take or entice away for one's own use: "Our competitor is trying to pirate our best salesman."
-There's a reason it's called pirating. It's because you're stealing.
Which makes you a t...
Just logged in a little less than an hour ago and there was no patch yet here on the US east coast.
Was tweaking a level I just published. If you'd like to check it out it's called "The Demon's Den 1.1". Try it out if you'd like a quick challenge on the dark side haha!
psn name is bantha274
I had one of my levels (named Into The Underworld) deleted without any warning or explanation. I only used the tools from within the game and no outside images, meaning no copyright infringement, and nothing that I or any of my friends who played it would consider "adult-related" content.
And the level was only played 5 times online before getting deleted.
The only thing I think could possibly have gotten it deleted is the inverted-pentagram symbol, which is a...
I've seen commercials for LBP, but I agree that Sony's marketing needs lots of improvement. For several of their commercials, it's not always clear exactly what their advertising. Are they marketing the system? A specific game?
Personally, I get what they're advertising in each of their commercials, but there are many parents/non-gamers who may not get it. I know there are some people who need things explained clearly or they'll just be confused at what they're seeing.

The Home beta got boring pretty fast imho. There should be more than what they've given us at this point.
I played for several hours and I'm not that interested anymore. I'll be back when open beta begins and hopefully there will be more included then.
And yes, it is pretty cool what IS there considering it's free. But after all this time, it's just a bit underwhelming.
meh
I just wish people who had the skill to do something like this would use it for a better purpose. Maybe like trying to cure a disease or some form of new techology to help the world. Something other than building a robot that can play a f***ing video game!
It's all nice they can do this, but really it's just potential and ability gone to waste.
@chris
If those military guys are destroying a PS3 paid for with American tax dollars, they should be ashamed.
Shouldn't they be venting their frustraions out on terrorists? Isn't that what we pay billions of dollars a year for?
Douchebags.
Sorry to hear that. I didn't have any server or loading problems at all the whole time I was on. I did see some people talking about slow loading and whatnot, I just didn't experience any.
I have a really good internet connection but i don't know if that has anything to do with my experience or if I just happened to be on at a good time.
This is one of the best observations I've ever seen on N4g. Kudos.
If people did EXPECT so much, they wouldn't be so disappointed all the time. Lower your expectations in life in general. It seems to me the generation younger than 30 expects to have what they want, when they want, which is everything RIGHT NOW. Life doesn't work that way. But I guess it's the result of growing up with things like time-outs instead of real punishments and plastic playgrounds instead of steel an...
