To be honest, the controls were horrible but I couldn't really expect more from the joke that was the 64 controller. The only games that worked well with that piece of sh1t were the Zelda titles.
Seriously, just make a crazy multiplayer heavy James Bond compilation game with like most of the characters and some serious gadgets. Like Nightfire but you know, good.

Ermmm, I'm pretty darn hardcore. My console is a wii and I play it all the time, I don't really appreciate it when people tell me my controllers are supposedly gathering dust. They're getting worn to the coreeee.
Plus, do we really have less hardcore games then we did on gamecube? =|
