haha! I thought this game was long buried, This was one of the first games I ever played, back in the myst/jorneyman days
you really aren't supposed to try and put that helmet on mate.
A just score.
I couldnt really understand what the IGN reviewer disliked about this title, but for me its one of the best music based shooters yet. I definatley enjoy it more than E3, and it sits a little on top of REZ on my list (I like the music in ES better than the house music in Rez). This is my second favorite psn title, next to tekken, and the best music based shooter in years.
I think that this is a better Idea than taking out wifi or the HD. With the ps2 sitting in so many living rooms, I doubt many of the returning consumers are going to complain that they dont have a redundant machine. Wifi is easy to replace, HD is also easy to add, but buying a ps2 isnt exactly that difficult. if people want to play ps2 games they either have a ps2 or they can buy a ps2 with the $100 they save on the ps2. I dont know why anyone is upset about this. how many gamers planning on ...
dont like E3? or have you not played every extend extra yet (you could have played lumines on console instead of psp). if you havent, you would like it, so get it when it comes to XBL.
@below: haha np I was just making sure you didnt pass over something you might like :)
What a great reward for all my exams this week. day 1 purchase for me. I love everything about this game.
how are they intending to sell trucks with this
gamov is nothing compared to the irritation caused by the helicopter, but other than that ninja gaiden isnt too bad. how about how irritating it was in black(not NGB, black the fps from criterion) when you would pump 40 shots into a guy and reload then the guy would get up cuz of his armor or something. it felt in that game that the only shots that registered were when the enemy finished its "hit recoil" animation, I dunno it just took too long to kill people.
this must have started as a farcry mod?
First off even though many people havent played these games, most every game on the list is able to be judged by some criteria.
HL2 can be judged by those who have played it, in the reference-frame of console gamers who might not have ever played it. Also many people have been able to play Crysis and Quake wars through their respective online betas (the latter leaving a bad taste in my mouth personally lol). UT3 and Haze can be judged on credentials and the information released...
Yes Half-Life2:Deathmatch exists, and should come packaged with this since its part of HL2. but as it hasent been expressely stated that either CS, DoD, or HL2-DM are included, I wouldnt count on it. But trust me, no one will be wanting to play HL2:DM after they play Team Fortress
I agree about those 3 being worthy place holders on the list this guy made. But you shouldnt overlook what the orange box is bringing. I mean the amount packed in is massive, especially for your average console gamer who hasent played HL2 and Episode 1. They get to catch up there, then play through episode 2, and already youve got a frighteningly lengthy single player experience. Then portal which should be entertaining for some, maybe not for others, adding in another 5+ hours maybe.
...
exactly.
Someone will recreate all the Goldeneye maps and weaps and voia la. next gen goldeneye. Plus for the first time Console gamers will be able to just grab the PC mod and "cook" it (as mark put it) then bam, unlimited new modes, weapons, anything someone is willing to transcribe to the UT3 engine.
I agree about UT3 and Crysis, both should be much higher "threat" or whatnot. But even though I am a huge UT fan and will probably let that game suck the most time out of me, Crysis's multiplayer isn't anything to sneeze at. I've been playing some of the beta and the suit functions really bring a new level of tactics and strategy to an online fps experience.
But ya TF2 has been mia for 7 years, and is one of the best multiplayer experiences around.
othe...
I was playing beta earlier and the game may look superb, but rest assured the gameplay is just as good. Should be a very good Christmas for shooter fans, with this and UT3.
haha great comment.
I think I even like the tori emaki game more than mesmerize. hopefully its a ton of areas to explore
this used to be a game I played quite a bit. its a pretty awesome CS/Battlefield type game but it has stuff like sprinting and rolling. The game has small maps, which are close quarter tactical maps (CS style - hostage/bomb), and 24 man-32 man battlefield style with heli's jets etc. The weapons were rented for a period of time (like a week) for a certain amount of ingame money, which you would earn as you level(rank) up. what I particularly liked was that there was a well known "bug"...
Jeanne D'Arc was pretty good, and playing SoTN and MSG:PO wasnt too bad.
but ya, now there is a flow of good games. :) bring it on
you do get upgrades.
you get upgraded from the longsword to the heavenly sword.
you unlock combos and various other abilities.
your range stance level goes up throughout the game.
and by the last chapter you should notice a substantial difference in power.
a little box even pops up while your playing telling you that your skills have been improved, or when you unlock a video or artwork.
.....are you sure you were playing HS?
