it's may not be necessary for a "budget Pc" but for a "Budget GAMING PC" it is. You don't do a Half Donkey job of building a Gaming Pc for a Customer to not quote in the price of a good gaming mouse/keyboard.

The reusing of OS and any other parts from there OLD PC depends from person to person. Most have old windows xp, no CDs, etc. Yes you can use their same serial number on another windows CD that's the same editions as theirs for the new ...

I built and upgrade my share of PC for quite a while. And in most cases you can reused many parts from the old PC. But if you reused any main parts then it's really consider a upgrade. But to call this an Budget GAMING PC and not add in the cost of a any MOUSE/keyboard, the windows OS, and SPEAKERS/ HEAD set is not fully correct. They might as well call this a Gaming upgrade.

Your Pc is nothing without an OS, so that cost should be added in at least $75-100.

huh?
direct pluging a CAT5 cable into the Ethernet Port on the back of the PS3 is not Wireless networking.

There's a Ethernet Port on the back of the PS3 that can be use for the Input Source for Live TV. Similar to all the ATT U-verse TV boxes that used CAT5 instead of the normal cable for input sourse.

Also, the Ethernet port on the PS3 is a Gigabit Ethernet (10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, 1000BASE-T) so it's not your normal 100mb.

I just checked out the full trailer for this Brain Training game and from the looks of it, the $35 Playstation Eye can do all of this. So Microsoft better have a jp exclusive or something for this game because it will look kind of stupid with one needing a $150 camera and the other only needs a $35 camera to do the same thing.

With the PS3 having a built-in blu-ray drive ,it pushed more blu-ray movie sales, pushed more HD TV sales, which pushed developers to make games with higher resolution graphic and faster frame rate.

Since it uses a Blu-ray drive, HDMI port on the PS3 is a must. Which pushed HD digital connections from HDMI 1.2 to HDMI 1.3, so now more are going digital instead of the analog for wiring. And because they used HDMI 1.3 , they can now make 3d games because their bandwidth is en...

if you want triggers on your DS3 or Sxa, you can get them at amazon for $3.99 per pair.

he forgot about some key features of the PS3 DS3 controller.

All buttons on the DS3 and SxA are Pressure Sensitive. Every single one of them, except for the normal start, select, and home button of course. The only buttons on the xbox 360 that are consider Pressure sensitive are their triggers. That's it, 2 buttons on the xbox 360 compare to 12 on the Ps3. (if you don't believe me , just pop in a racing game, and assign the gas pedal to one of your PS3 face buttons. the ha...

You mean the one that they shown at E3?

who knows, they probably just ran out of room on the 2nd disc.

-Maybe they might release it in DLC later on.
-Might have just scrap the project to get the game out ontime.
-Perhaps there's some confict with the HD replay video export function. (In order to get a more enhance HD quality replay, you will need to export it first, that's what I heard). So maybe if you edit the replay first before the export it w...

yeah, I don't see it either, perhaps the list is not current? They can always release it in DLC format.

I guess we can treat that as a positive point for Non-HDD 360 Arcade users. They will have less cars therefore less repeats. And it's not just cars too, they wont have to worry about those 29 extras tracks either. Which was chop up to increase their total track counts. 3 full tracks turning into 29 tracks? That's almost 1 track turning into 10. T_T

Also I just notice that the 3 track pack on Disc 2 is 730.4 MB. Does anyone know if you can install just 1 of those tracks, or...

Sure the xbox 360 may have 512mb of unified memory but it's not like they are going to use it all on the CPU. So one way or another, it's going to be less than 512mb for the CPU. If they want HD Graphics then expect them to use at least 256mb for the GPU. What's left would be just 256mb for the CPU. And since it's unified memory, both runs at the same DDR speed which is around 3 to 4 times slower than XDR memory.

If you shop around for memory it's not just size of MB that...

The main difference between the Wii and the Ps2 is in the controls. If Sony can add in a Wiimote like controller, and/or push for better Eye Toy games it should be able to compete with the Wii easily.

We are at 2009 already.

the proof is in the games. I don't see any game on the xbox 360 that can beat GT5, killzone, MGS4, Uncharted, etc graphically YET. It's not about if the xbox 360 can do it or not, it's about did they do it yet. Sure they might have the power, or they might not but judging on current games the answer to that is no.

And we're not talking about multi-platform ones. Why? because in order to judge a consoles power correctly you'll have to judge it base on games that are speciall...

I'm not sure if any of you remember this but Microsoft already had a store back in 1999. They were located on the 2nd floor of Sony Metreon entertainment shopping center. Right in Downtown of San Francisco. The feel of the store is very open and relax. There wasn't even a Apple store here yet.

All the buttons on PS3 and PS2 Controllers are pressure sensitive, yes, even the face buttons, so using R1 for shooting becomes natural to most since you can use your REAL Trigger finger to hit it very easily.

"But expecting people to re-invest in movies all over again just because of a higher resolution is ridiculous."

huh? what is this re-invest thing you're talking about? Are you saying you NEED to Buy the Blu-ray versions of all the DVD movies you already own? Why? how do you even could up with this idea?

You are saying that DVD is good enough, right?
You can keep your DVD collection, you don't need to re-invest.
Blu-ray players can play ...
