looks like the damage modeling is coming along. Near the end of the video you can see the minor dent/scratches on the hood and bumper
I can guarantee you that this firmware update did not just reach the developers. Also, TSD's are numbered and named differently than the public firmware updates. VG247 does not know what they are talking about.

They will probably reduce the size of the cell to 45nm, they will probably do away with the EE and GS completely, whilst retaining BC via software emulation. Also we will probably see a shrink the in the PCB as well. All of this equates to a cheaper PS3 for the consumer.
If they do release a matte black PS3 slim I will definitely buy it. The 46" LCD tv in my bedroom needs a playmate anyway.
Some Firmware updates free up OS memory or make improvements upon the OS, which if you didn't download and install would render certain games and or future services unusable. Big Duh
