Well the ps3 is really encouraging the consumer to get blu ray movies while the 360 only gives you an option at HD. I think most owners of the ps3 will want to support blue ray because they own a blu ray player but you cannot say the same about the 360 consumer. The only way to persuade people to stop using DVD's is to sort of "force them" to the next gen format.
OMG i cannot stand the people who sell video games and know nothing about gaming. A few weeks ago i went into gamespot and asked for skate on the ps3, of course the guy handed me the xbox version. It really pissed me off lawl.I also saw a guy walk into gamestop and ask about the differences in the 360 and the ps3 and the clerk really did not know what he was talking about but the guy believed every word he was saying. The clerk was confusing the 360 arcade with the 360 elite! =0
Well it does seem that Blu Ray is the winner but if you look at it from Toshiba's point of view they are going to try and stay in it for as long as possible and get the most money out of HD-DVD as they can. HD-DVD will probably be around for a while until people completly stop using DVD's and decide to go Blu.
I didnt know blockbuster let you rent blu ray disks? Or are they only talking about selling blu ray disks.
When i first played Saints Row i thought it was a direct copy off Grand Theft Auto. Grand Theft Auto has always been the game to play and although Saints Row 2 may be somewhat succesful it cannot live up to what Grand Theft Auto offers and what it has been known for.
I think that if Microsoft decides to try to get a head start on sony agian it will be a mistake because people will know that their money is being put to waste because Microsoft has a reputation of abandoning their consumers and force them to buy their new products.People just dont have that kind of money to throw around. If you look at Sony and what they have done with playstation it seems that they are the company where you can be sure your invested money will be good for a long time.

Rumours Rumours Rumours= Not always true, and on a side note to say that the 360 has better graphics then the ps3 shows how much denial you are in. Not saying that the ps3 is better then xbox or the other way around though.

Well theres a difference between a comment which good-hearted and not intented to hurt anybody but insted makes the person the comment is directed towards laugh as opposed to a commment that is over the line to the point were it is cruel and can really hurt a person.

Why are some many people hatin on this!? This is great!! Dont make such postive news into a negative by saying "oh it should have been there, oh it will be delayed." No company can meet every single individuals request, im glad that Sony is great enough to listen to what their consumers want and give it to them.
The controller is great the way it is, i perfer the ps3 controller over the 360 controller. I just think its easier to take complete control of The D-pad. Although i must say i think i may perfer the xbox controller for sports games.
Actually most ps3 games offer something quite similar does have something similar to achievements, its one of the reasons why uncharted has great replay value.
Ok so the only way to get you to perfer the ps3 is for sony to get rid of the blu ray feature the ps3 has? U cant hate all of the extra feature of ps3,Well when it comes down to it, the ps3:plays games=gaming console lol??
This may be a little off topic but I wonder if any xbox fans on this site have ever played the ps3 before. I have given the 360 a chance and it doesnt seem any different to from the days of ps2 but the ps3 just seems more "next-gen" to me. Well thats just my opinion =)
