My local GAME says there wont be new consoles in store respective Ps5 and series X till March, April 2021, looks like im in for a wait. More time to save for that 120htz TV i guess. But here in Belfast both PS5 and XSX sold out instantly with people who had paid preorders also missing out.
I remember paying respectively between 70 and 75 pounds here in Belfast for the likes off supermario 64, pilotwings 64, goldeneye and so on around the first year off N64. So it isn't the first games have retailed around this mark. I paid gladly though cause the quality of the game was so high and rich with gameplay.

Im tilted tbh they removed the tick for party privacy. I can't see any other place to set it private in chat settings unless theres a work around?. I have plenty a friend on my friends list but sometimes me and my bro like to lock it down. Talk family stuff, money other general private conversations atm new settings anyone can just join. Add to that the state the firmware has launched. Took bout an hour just trying to join a party last night.
I'm one the older folk here on N4g, seen every console launch seen the NES, started my gaming on an Amstrad 464. This is the first time imformation on the next gen has been so light on the ground. Even before the Internet blew up we had imformation in magazines months before if not a year out on the details surrounding a new console.
Give it this year has been a mass fuk up with covid, lockdowns ect you would think they would be egar to show the console in detail by now...
Personal onpipion here, On the back off that acquisition tbh xbox series x looks a much buy to me, I play all formats but to tell the truth i was unsure about purchasing Microsofts machine this time round. My PS5 money was and still is my first priority, but now i know this I can't not get the xbox aswell.
Yeah looking forward to this, gameplay looks great and they some slick visuals.

I'm happy to be in the minority here, I've always enjoyed the Halo franchise for me that looked and played like Halo. I'm looking forward to the multiplay reveal and I'll have Halo day one, Just as i'll have a Ps5 and titles there aswell. There was nothing in the Halo trailer put me off. I'm in it for the gameplay and hopefully majority a gamers are, are whats the point.
Looked good to me tbh freshen the game mechanics some and shine it up for the next gen
Tbh without kojima i'd not play MGS. Im a fan off both games you speak off but, PES is still a good football game and theres a great deal off players give a crap about it.

I like it, but I'm hoping for padels on the back, I've spent the majority off this generation between scuf and my recent nacon pro revolution unlimited looking the best feel controller and like xbox series x that will feel a step back for me. Hope there are, they at least have to plans for a pro controller. Tbh the back buttons should be standard by now imo.

Tbh i'd keep the current modern warfare on three year cycle, with the current lockdowns its been an advantage its the best cod in a long time for me even rivaling cod4.
Getting both consoles tbh, i think from what I've seen and heard thus far they both merit our attention . Both for me have downsides aswell. I wish on both systems bc was handled slignty different when it comes to storage methods.
But after sonys deepdive i also understand why it is two separate storage mediums that are required. Being the newer games require the faster ssd to run, leaving the bc games requiring separate storage, well thats my understanding.
