Besides the few crashes I’ve experienced on my PS5, and some of the tinkering I had to do in the hdr and graphics settings. It’s easily a 10 out of 10 for me! Patches will be on the way, no doubt about it.
I’m playing it on the PS5 and there was already a 45 gig patch day1. Graphics in many parts of the game look amazing and photorealistic. Especially after the update I noticed. I heard from the developers that this patch is only the first half of the next gen upgrade and the second half will be coming next year. 30fps is perfectly fine, it’s never bothered me. I want graphics to blow me away, something I can admire. You can’t admire frames per second, nothing to wow you and enjoy looking at, like graphics! It’s what improves and gets better with every console, it’s what we want.
Seriously, it’s the most played game on my PS5 right now and I haven’t even touched the online part. I think it’s definitely the prettiest game on the console! I like the world, the enemies and the fighting. I find it much more enjoyable than Demons Souls, which I also have and is getting high praise. Drab colorless world with a very unfair difficulty.

Problem is, no games. What’s even the point of Xbox when there just isn’t any games going, no exclusives! If there is even 1, it’s never worth mentioning.

I think I read that the developers said they will release a free upgrade in the future for us PS5 owners. They seemed to think it could be quite awhile before we see it though. Really wish with all the delay, they would’ve already had a proper PS5 version to purchase on day 1.

I couldn’t agree more! I am really enjoying Godfall and can’t understand some of the hate. Graphics are solid, especially when resolution is favored. I like the environments and enemies. Some nice colors going on. The gameplay is addictive and fun! To tell you the truth, I am having more fun with this than demons souls. Which seems overly hyped to me. Godfall took me by surprise. 8/10 also for me!
Wow, now that’s a blast from the past! I remember this on Dreamcast! I wanna see more Dreamcast games remade, that would be so awesome!
You might want to try standing the console upright on its stand and placing it out in the open where it can get good ventilation. I read a whole article about it. They don’t recommend placing it on its side in a shelf space. I’m not taking any chances, so I moved mine and it’s been very silent and cool.
That’s tempting man. Arent SSD drives really expensive right now? I just recently bought an external WD 4TB game drive I’m using with my Pro and has all my PS4 games on it. I wanna just plug it into that PS5, but I’m kinda haired out to do so right now. Wonder if it’s certain drives or all HDD ones. Not sure I wanna take the chance. I really am having fun with this one. More so than Demons Souls actually. Talk about repetitive, at least you don’t have to start all the frikin way back when you die, and then fight the same enemies over again that you already killed. That crap gets old. I’m going with Godfall being a must play right now on the PS5.
I suggest no one attach any external hard drive to it right now, and don’t use it for PS4 games until they get this problem all patched up.
I’m strictly only using it to play PS5 games on and that’s it! Use my Pro for PS4 games. I have not experienced any problems yet.

Oh Comon, these articles are starting to get ridiculous. It’s like become cool and a trend to bash this game. Patches already released and more to come. This is just the day and age we live in.
Games releasing broken are the new norm. Apart from a couple crashes on my PS5 with this game, I’m just not seeing it. Runs great and looks great, so everybody needs to just relax. These articles are getting old.
