Zeebo will have a hard times in Brazil. The PS2 is very popular down here and the PS3 is a loved by the higher economic classes. But with a company like Qualcomm in this project, I must believe that they did lots of market research and planning.

Let's see what happen.

All of those were nice tries. This is how the market works. Some will success, others will fail. Sound just like Charles Darwin Evolution Theory.

A few mutants may rise!

Trophies for MGS4. Any other good Metal Gear game will be welcome in the future.

I posted an article on Brazil's gaming market a few days ago. I am pleased that MS and Sony are paying more attention to this market with official products releases. However, they need to improve distribution, price policy, etc...

The local government shall also help with piracy, taxes, etc...

I believe this year will be great for Brazilian gamers.

Yesterday I got my imported copy of Killzone 2. I can say that after playing the DEMO and now with the full version that I am quite happy with $70 bucks that I spent.

Brazilians will have great time with games this year.

... for almost every product. I hope Brazil close the gap with US and Europe and get the deserved attention from the players. Microsoft's case with XBOX 360 is NOT an example to be followed. A 360 can be more expensive than an imported 80Gb PS3.

The PS3/360 games price tag is out of question. $125 (USD) for a game?

Let's see what Sony has to show on the official PS3/PSP Brazilian launch in the following months.

...o mais justo seria 9/10. De qualquer forma devo comprar este jogo, desde que por um preço justo. No Brasil pode custar R$290 (reais) / $125 dólares americanos.

I don't agree with the journalist when he says that this is a milestone in the Brazilian games production. There are several decent games studio that offers outsourcing development for art, codding, testing, etc... I can mention Playlore (www.playlore.com), Meantime (www.meantimegames.com), D'accord (www.daccord.com), etc...

I hope the importers bring this game to Brazil ASAP. We hope to receive the first copies on early March. The Brazilians will pay around $125 USD for this game on local stores.

If I dont travel overseas soon, I will get for $125 bucks anyway. It is a great game!
