elimin8 - why do you want TLOU on PS4?
Personally I want TLOU to be Naughty Dog's last blockbuster on PS3 with Uncharted 4 being a launch title on PS4.
Let's not forget that UC3 came out on 11/1/2011 which will be roughly 2 years before PS4 launches. We know that Nuaghty Dog is split into two teams.
The bigger story IMO is how Naughty Dog has kept us so preoccupied with TLOU that they aren't even asking what the second team is doi...
This will probably get ignored but Sony's fiscal year ends July 31st, so this would fill the coffers a bit before the end of their fiscal year.
Just another possibility.
Yeah the UC3 vs. UC2 thing is stupid.
UC3 is a better game than UC2. Period. The thing is, Uncharted 2 was a monumental shift in what people think of as an action adventure, story-driven game. UC2 was a better game compared to the time of its release and the state of the industry at the time. However, if UC3 came out a few years ago and UC2 came out now people would be complaining about UC2 being slow, etc.

That's like saying - man, next year's PCs look really good because Adobe, Google, etc are rumored to be working on stuff for them.

I keep thinking of Diablo 2 or Age of Empires when it comes to the proper way to do expansions / DLC.
I don't mind little DLC (like UC3 selling individual skins for a buck or w/e). The thing that annoys me is when you miss out on integral game related experiences by not having the DLC or expansion. Both the expansion and original game should feel like complete entities for the most part.

On the plus side, Quantic Dream has a track record of using stories that are off the beaten path. Can't wait.
I have to disagree with everyone. I'm not a game critic, so my measure of success is this:
Did I have fun and was it worth the time I spent on it?
The answer to both of those for the BF3 SP is yes. I really enjoyed playing it, despite it not being perfect.
Multiplayer is a great time, but seriously, why does everyone take themselves so seriously trashing otherwise fun games. It's supposed to be entertainment, not some deep thought-...

I can assure you, as an Amex member that Amex is probably the BEST credit card company out there.
Sure, it can be expensive, but they aren't for everyone. And the perks / rewards system are legit.
I used to be so excited about D3. I still am, but the disillusionment grows with each passing day.

That said, I think it's legit to discuss contenders for next year's GOTY on New Year's Eve. It's basically a preview of the best games for 2012.

And saying you never get anything cool depends on what you're looking for. I remember, 10 months after UC2 came out people online were still asking me how I had gold guns. It was neat, and fun to brag about. That's what I get for preordering at Best Buy. Go me I guess.
