Why are you trying to blame the game, when you say it yourself. "He found a real gun". Thats the problem right there. No kids should just find a gun. Being obsessed with a game and making cardboard copies of guns dosent kill anyone. Its when kids get access to real guns this tragedies happens.
The problem isent Helo (or any game for that sake) the problem is the gun control. Guns should be stored in a guncabin, locked so kids dont have access to them. I dont know have the law is in the US, but where I live (eu, norway) we have to store them in a locked armored safe. And if its the same laws in US then the parents are to blame. Sad but true.

Publisher : Prints it, ship it and is responsable for add campaigns.

So you want Sony to throw a free add campaign for every game published on their systems ? Hell, why dont every company start add campaigns for others products. If Konami and Sony make a deal, then its fine. But it dosen`t make sense to have a campaign for a product thats not yours, and the only benefit you get is a few more HW sales. Then its better to use that money on a PS3 add, and not a MGS4 add.
Not Sony`s job to advertise MGS4, its the publisher aka Konami.
Guess they have plans not to have a shortage after the holiday season, like they had this year. Its strange how people learn form their mistakes :)
