Imagine if Sega re released the Dreamcast for a little bit of time (It cant be that pricey to make these days) & if they priced it at $100 bucks it would probably sell more then the Wii.
How do we know that this was not "staged" by the Blu-Ray side to make HD-DVD look bad ? Because automatically the blame would go to them. There is no proof that anyone from the HD-DVD side did this & with how loud the Blu-Ray side has been you never know. So you idiots think & believe what you want. There is no proof as to who did this.

If it was that good then it would be making money. But in my opinion & it probably was released to early with so many other well known games out the mass market does not seem to care about Uncharted.
If Microsoft & Rare want to collaborate then they should be doing everything they can to bring Goldeneye & Perfect Dark 64 to XBOX 360 Live Arcade.
Also Ravenator Bioware has said they want to keep this as a 360 exclusive. If EA tries to make this multiplatform I wonder if we will end up hearing about in the future Bioware VS Ea. Sort of like how we are hearing about Activision VS MTV VS Sony over Guitar Hero & Rock Band. Let the fights begin against developers.

I have not downloaded it yet Im getting ready to head to bed & I will let you guys download it first so it can go fast for me tomorrow & I can wait until tomorrow but can you play .avi files right from a CD / DVDr ? & that 8 gig file probably goes over the 2 gig limit.
So the Open Home Beta was indeed delayed ? No wonder why Phil Harrison has been quiet since he was the one to announce the Open Home Beta. Sony should just say that there is no Open Home Beta. This is like the 3rd time the Open Beta has been delayed & Pump your comments is not helping the situation any better then the "trolls".
Once the Stand Alone Blu-Ray Players start getting cheaper then the Playstation 3. I wonder what will happen with Playstation 3 sales.

Hey I am just the messenger & it works on the PC because you installed the Xvid Codec. If the PS3 does not have the Xvid Codec then it will not work. All news is saying the PS3 will just have Divx & no mention of Xvid.
It is a shame about no Xvid. Becuase alot of avis these days use Xvid.
Unfortunately XviD is still not supported, which means that people with a large number of anime fansubs (not naming any names here) will have to stick to computer viewing for the time being. *sigh*

So use the 360 for Xvid & the PS3 for Divx. The 360 can not play all versions of Divx & the PS3...
EZCheez I would rather use that hard drive space for mp3s for when Sony finally allows the whole Custom Soundtracks thing for all games then wasting time & space putting full movies on the hard drive when I am perfectly happy with viewing them right from the CD or DVDr. But that is just me.
There has never & I repeat never been a Divx / Xvid movie rip over 2 gigs. If there has been then it is extremely extremely rare & I would be happy to just play the files right from a CD or DVD. The only thing Sony "one ups" Microsoft here is the fact that the PS3 should be able to play all versions of Divx. That is the only thing Sony beated Microsoft at in terms of the Divx update.
I guess Sony Droids can not whine anymore when it comes to Microsoft & different SKUs
I wonder why we havent heard from Phil Harrison lately. Is he in hiding because he promised a Home Beta for everyone & now its not happening ? Thats probably it & at for once Jack did not make himself & Sony look like an ass with the whole Backwards Compatibility mess. But Sony probably has Jack on a Super Leash now & is reviewing what Jack says.
I thought it was obvious that Nintendo went with the non gamer / family crowd with the Wii ? They tried going hard core with the Gamecube & that failed & this generation Nintendo tried going with a different crowd & it is a success & now the "Hard Core Gamers" are crying foul.
