the ps3 is a total bargain. These people have obvisouly never experienced the full capability of this thing.... Or even played MGS4, which alone is worth the 599 I paid for my 60gb

If RE5 came out say 9 months later, all of that time can be directed toward optimizing the game for PS3 - Unrivalled Sound (MGS4 anyone) - Visuals (Uncharted, MGS4) - this could be a good thing... Oh yes the hate for MS and Cap would be very much deserved - but, this could be a blessing in disguise. In reality though I really want this game. metal Gera Solid & Resident Evil cahnged my life. So we need to come full circle.
Who gives a F____! if there are 5 hours of install times.. After MGS4 I'm seriously considering not gaming anymore because, everything after will never be as epic or enthralling.

Do yourself a favor compare the blocky shadows and suspect lighting of COD4 to the crisp dynamic shadows of Uncharted - That proves that UNcharted is the best so far. Among developers Uncharted is a new epoch.
