It's like the true developers are not dead or retired and have risen again after all these years.
This magnificent game is THE ONE we've been waiting for. Not because of its old 2D look. But simply for the level design, gameplay and music. Sonic looks like sonic with the old classic appearance, not the stupid lanky look.
Fair enough they copied and pasted parts from only the best sonic but they done plenty to make it their own. The boss battles ...
Smart phones and tablets reiterate each year. Apps and games work on several iterations with the oldest 1 or 2 models left out. In my opinion both MS and Sony are really trying hard to figure out if this is the next best step of taking console gaming and in my opinion......I WANT IN!

How the heck has it lost its novelty? Dude, have you had your specs checked because those set pieces have been remarkably beyond epic like I've never seen. It's a evolution in gaming. We should be honoured to be given such quantities of epic.
Ps3 is the console of choice worldwide for the mainstream Fifa/Cod player. Only UK and USA have a stronghold for 360.

What is it with imitating old games we've already played? It should be an evolution to the latest sonic & knuckles. The physics were all demented compared to the classic sonic anyways.
Out of all the rappers why Jay Z? I hate his voice. All I hear is "yapidy blap blap bow wow" from him. Can't there just be instrumentals of there own music?
FFS it's like complaining a decent PC from 2004 can't run BF3 at full. Old tech perhaps.
There's going be a lot more noticeable graphics leap since there won't be any tv replacements like this gen which took a slight toll on graphics. Expect next gen to equal Crysis 1 and Battlefield 3 at highest settings with exception of screen resolution. (Hope I'm not too optimistic)

I can almost hear Warhawk's theme oh so nostalgic.
This is why I am no longer a fan/fanboy of either XB or PS. I will remain a current gen gamer till storage becomes attainable and affordable.
