PS VR was better than the really expensive PC alternative, but still, VR is dead or at least just like it always was, a niche market.
It is already hard enough to get 60fps games for consoles. People just see screenshots and argue that the 30fps games look better. Guess what happens with 90-120 fps VR games. The mass don't want to see those games.
If the base-hardware get's better VR games might look better, but still look awful...

Well they are. Dolby Vision is much more variable and can display HDR8->14Bit. The result is, that Dolby Vision need less bandwidth because the HDR information is also compressed. That is why pictures >HDR10 are possible with Dolby Vision (if your TV would support it)

Blockchain-technology is really not that new or efficient. It is a really inefficient way to save something "unchangeable" .. well but the thing is, is is not really unchangeable at all … It has it flaws by design.
Yes Multiplayer is always a problem with old games. Even worse if it has achievements that are multiplayer-only…
Most of the time those "servers" are only there to have a lobby, they are not needed for playing the game (in multiplayer). Maybe they should just implement the inventation-thing from xbl at least in the future.

XB360 was supported far longer than anyone expected. They even released new features for the xb360 OS a few years ago, and game-servers are still up and running.
They even released Tomb Raider and Forza Horizon 2 on their old platform. I know it to do something with pushing sales, but they supported the xb360 a long time.
which long term support? They let the PS3 die quite fast as soon as the PS4 was out.
Yes there was GT6 … but well nothing really after that. Also they were quick on shutting down PS3-game servers.
I really hope the PS4 gets a longer "long term support" than the PS3. Even the PS2 was supported far longer than the PS3.

Xbox is still successful. Not as successfully as the PS4 but it is still making a lot of money. Why should they abandon that?
That won't happen. The more realistic graphics get, the more it get to uncanny valley until it looks really realistic. That won't happen in the near future.
Btw, you can bypass uncanny valley if you just use a more comiclike look.
