Where pricing is concerned.. the X1 deal is a bigger overall saving compared to the Pro deal.
Comes down to what console people want though. If I only had a base / slim PS4 and I had to choose, X1 without question.

Absolutely agreed. Both the workforce at Rockstar and the consumer have options here.
These overworked staff members can leave, and we can not buy the game if we choose not to. I will be buying.

There is nothing stopping a xCloud app being designed for Smart TVs or Android TV boxes. xCloud will almost certainly come to PC also.
PSNow got a big yawn for being an overpriced rental service, with latency issues, 30fps and 720p.
The problem with your arguement is PSNow sucked for years and was overpriced.
Like it or not, MS has an incredible advantage when it comes to online services. They already have an incredible cloud infrastructure and limitless funding to get it right. Add in Gamepass and it already looks more exciting than PSNow.

Cloud computing is very different from cloud streaming.
they said that Xbox consoles will still be the flagship location for high fidelity gaming. I don't expect physical to disappear anytime soon.
Just like DVD, Blu-Ray, CD, hell even Vinyl is still mass produced today.
This is a common occurance. Many games switch generations mid-development. Or the engine gets saved for a new game.
You need to understand that GTA3 is a product of it's time. Regardless of the article, when GTA3 released there was nothing like it. It may suck now but back then it was phenomenal.
I was blown away when GTA3 released. It was shocking seeing an open world that size, at the time.
