Camping is a part of certain game types ie. domination and capture the flag. I always felt that while it does slow down the game, it's a necessary evil.

Your comparison to Uncharted 2 is fair but like you said it's the Demo. The game will also be in 60fps, i think this Demo is from E3 so I believe I read somewhere around 30fps for now.

Plus, the flexibility to play MAME, SNES, NES etc. VC is ok, but limited. It's stuck on that Wii and most games require a separate controller. To play MarioKart64 will cost you close to $30 on VC. Controller plus game.
