Graphically killzone is better, however i still believe that gears is the superior game, of course this is just my opinion. In this site i'm sure i will accumulate countless disagrees but i stand by it.
the only thing they need to fix, is the loading. I couldn't stand how often kz had to loan in one level constantly interrupting the gameplay. A mandatory install might help with this.
Why would he mention gears of war on a killzone article?
Killzone's color suits it just fine, its the way it was meant to be played, i prefer it over uc2's colorful cartoony feel
not sure why you got disagrees, all corps have their dirty practices. It's just that ms don't give a phuck if they're publicized or not, well maybe they do, however life goes on, and they still make money.

Look, just in case people don't already know, Crysis is in a league of its own and I do mean the original. That game's world is massvie in comparison to killzone2 and a lot more interactive. Killzone had some nice explosions and all but they were all scripted in crysis it was very random. As for halo reach, again that's another sandbox game, and IMO it looks on par with Killzone2 which isn't bad considering the world will be much larger than killzone2. I didn't really like aa all that much played it a bit, then put it away. Uncharted 2 however I couldn't put down, I don't think that uc2 gameplay wise was all that great, but the scripted events made it feel better than it was. Be that as it may I easily give it goty. There really wasn't another game that I found to be as good, well maybe killzone2.
The best looking games, that sony "ripped off", aren't even nintendo published games. Ubisoft,I think the gladiator one is from sega high voltage.
haven't you heard, if your game has the best graphics it automatically becomes game of the year lol. This is too funny people need to get back into the gaming aspect of things. I remember playing mario,contra,ninja turtles and so on,on my nintendo never thought that games would get to this level of detail, and people now like to nitpick. If you really want to get serious about graphics pick up a pc get a decent card and never look back. Hypocrites, so many of them on this site.
It does look like the same old halo gameplay with a few different additions,but what do you expect.

Yeah some of their games do look amazing but beyond cg render, dude you're on something if you honestly believe that. The only games that really impress me graphically are killzone and ucharted all of the other ps games dont seem to have the same quality when it comes to graphics imo, but most of them are quality games, and that's what really counts.
I'm as confused about that my self. As long as the company is making some money back then it shouldnt matter.

Is it just me or do the visuals look kinda crummy compared to the first one.. I havent seen it in motion but have seen some screen shots and they don't look nearly as good as the firs.
I wish they would have made the ps3 version as nice looking as the 360 version. That would have been a treat maybe next time.
killzone 3 will likely improve the engine a bit but i'm not expecting anything mind blowing.. Uc2 however was an amazing experience all around naughty dog really knows how to take advantage of the hardware.
The visuals look on par with killzone deuce and while I love the art style in gow3 the graphics are no where near as good as uc2 kz2 and reach, well at least from my experience with the gow demo.
It just seems that games on the ps3 get too much credit for the graphics, and while their games generally do have better visuals than the xbox it's not that big of a leap..
If you ask the average consumer what is the best looking game out there; most will quickly answe...
