Oh I disagree about the CoD compliment. I may be in the minority but I love CoD but also really enjoy Siege. I think anyone who tries to play CoD as a team (w/ callouts and strats) rather than everyone going in their own direction can appreciate this game.
I'm leaning towards that way now. I always preferred the IW games and when Vince Zampella and Jason West left, Treyarch started to pick it up with the original Black Ops.
I'm stoked. Couldn't peg that for a CoD game if it didn't have the label.
Looking forward to what they're doing for Zombies. It's been said by Mark Lamia (Treyarch Studio Head) that it's huge!
While I don't think sales mean a thing about how good a game is, I do think it says something. Call of Duty wouldn't sell so much if people hated it. If you've seen anything on Black Ops II outside of the reveal trailer, I think you'll see that this entry is going to offer a lot more variety than you might think.
Zombies, branching story lines, Strike Force, Future Warfare, New Weapons, Flying Jets, not to mention David S. Goyer (The Dark Knight) is writing th...
Haha right.
I'm just as jealous
I completely agree with you
Stream is up now!
Not sure how you got "anti CoD" out of that. Maybe you misread. I'm actually saying that Black Ops 2 is an improvement on the series. The article merely questions if that'll be enough.
@NYC_Gamer
Maybe, but the fan base might be split this year, especially since MW3 didn't improve much, while it was refined. Some fans just might be burnt out or keep playing what call of Duty game they have
I agree! That engine is amazing
So I thought that for some reason, hot swapping was in each Battlefield prior, I was mistaken. Sorry for the mix-up and its been changed. Thanks for the attention or I might not of caught that.
Thanks for commenting, y'all! Now I'm getting more ideas of what to play, it'll be Fall before I know it with all these games.
Simple, so more people can see this particular creation.
Thanks for reading! My library is up there, too, with the imports from other Rock Band titles.
I wasn't a journalist in middle school. That was how I got introduced to Halo, by playing Halo 2, sorry for not clarifying. I went back because I wanted to see where Halo started. I'm pretty sure Halo on the PC came out after Halo 2 on the xbox.
I just wrote this to help beginners. I don't know what your problem is.
Well said; I haven't played Dark Souls yet but from what I hear, it's incredibly immersive. The fact that there is so much at stake when you die is pretty daunting in a video game. Sure, it was like that before checkpoints in games but not the weight it is in Dark Souls, right?
I agree. On that same note; another arcade game, Bastion, reeled me in with its atmosphere. The beautiful hand-drawn environments and story were enough to keep me interested.
I gather you don't like Call of Duty much. Maybe I misread but I'm pretty sure there is no way a "copy" of BF1 could have been done. Call of Duty is on a three year dev cycle now and these discussions of going back were happening since AW launched. DICE and EA were probably talking about BF1 since BF4 launched.
Running out of ideas is a bit of a stretch. The critiques on modern combat and a yearning for old school Call of Duty were happening since Black Op...
