Apparently games can't be compared to other games in terms of how much a person enjoyed them. Might as well throw reviewing games out the window too because all games are incomparable to Mass Effect.

I just don't get why he is complaining about the 4 hours of mindless fun. I mean, isn't that what Suda games are? Sure, his other games weren't exactly this short, but it doesn't take away from the fact that the game is most likely awesome as hell. I think Jim Sterling said something like... Ha, this made me laugh, but is pretty accurate. As I said, the thing I really liked was the story. That's why I am so excited for Homefront 2 being developed by Crytek!
This is pretty much exactly what happened to me. I ended up giving up because I was so bored with it.
It wasn't even about hating story. I obviously care about story in a game, just how it is delivered in Mass Effect 2 turned me off. When the story TAKES OVER a game, then why even make the game? Why not just make it into a movie?
I play a game for GAMEPLAY. The story is supposed to be a compliment, not a supplement.
And even then, it was more because of how little gunplay there was.

When I read that it was rendered on console, I was amazed. Then I saw it was Naughty Dog and I wasn't surprised. Still great graphics. This was the only good thing to come out of the VGAs this year, lol.
