Some of these games you have to buy are way overpriced! I am almost positive the amount you save by looking online elsewhere will save you more money then the 50 dollars you would have to spend at Best Buy
I own a 360, wii u and ps3 and I have to be honest. I was considering buying the Xbox first then PS4 but now I don't think I'm going to buy Xbox at all! What a great show by Sony!!! Hoping the Nintendo one is good. My Wii U needs games damnit!
Considering how much devices are connected to the internet, constantly. I don't see the once every 24 hour thing a big deal. And if you are one that lives in a area that has unreliable internet. Well there are other options. I see all this hate for the xbox but it's like you are whining and complaining at something you obviously are not or will not buy. So much wasted effort. Everyone deserves a second chance! And regardless of what side of the fence you stand, competition is good for gaming. You may not like console A or B or whatnot but if it was just console A then I firmly believe PS4 or xbox would not be where they are today.

I am all for new characters, however I wish they would of included this in the season pass. Ten dollars seems a little steep for just a character. Guess I will have to wait until it goes on sale!

If they could get Skies of Arcadia 2 or PSO2 on the WiiU (or heck, any system really!) That could be great for WiiU sales and if Sega could get those on other systems I am sure that will be great for Sega as well.
Dungeon Defenders was such a shocking surprise. Such a good game with tons of content and challenges for those who seek it. All from a indie Dev. I hear they are changing the formula for DD2, actually looking forward into seeing this game unfold.
Yes, exactly! For Nintendo fans it is next generation. I mean look at the specs of the Wii compared to the generation it was up against. PS3/360. But the Nintendo path isn't about raw power. I had a Sega, and this was the first game I played on the SNES at my friends house. I loved my Sega, but man did I beg my parents for a SNES after playing it. Sadly, it never happend. The main use out of my current Nintendo systems are used to take a little dose of nostalgia.

It's true though, you don't see as many games today as you did back in the day. Publisher's are not taking gambles any more and just putting their money where it counts financially. I don't agree with the author that this is a good thing though. I enjoyed going into the game store and looking at the backs of all the cases, and finally picking one out I never played before; only to find I love it and it is a awesome game!
