To be honest I actually quite liked it, story wise not much happens but just the idea of going around breaking stuff with your floating is just something I can get behind. And to be honest it's an €8 arcade game, don't go in there expecting the next metal gear solid or something. It's a fun little game and it succeeds in what it tries to do, but that's only my opinion.
I'm not saying it is a bad thing but in my opinion it isn't something that exactly goes with the modern high tech age we live in anymore. Which is why I used it in that way.
Wether you like it or not this is part of the gaming scene over there and in my opinion it is a good thing this kind of stuff gets discussed. If we all shy away in a corner each time controversial themes appeared in a video game(or any other thing really) we would most likely still all be living an amish way of life.
I don't really think they dropped the ball, Kinect is a great piece of technology and yes the games might not be your everyday call of duty titles hardcore gamers want but hey guess what? Hardcore gamers aren't the audience they're aiming for with Kinect. The games look great and the gameplay is great for the audience they are shooting for. There wasn't a single bit of lag and everything was picked up perfectly.
Other than Kinect, GoW:nice, Halo:sure why not, ...
