I didn't buy this last MK game because I didn't think it was a real MK game. I've been a fan since the early '90's. It's redemtion time for Ed Boon or the MK francise is done for good IMO. I want blood & gore back along with some nice fatalities. No more kreate-a-fatality crap.

This theme is on Qore. I downloaded it a few weeks ago. Qore also has a Killzone 2 theme that was released sometime last year that is better.
I'm more excited about my preorder demo than the actual game. Speaking of demos, anyone know if the Qore & PSN F.E.A.R 2 demos are the same? I played the Qore version.
The real question is will the Splinter Cell game be multiplatform or 360 exclusive? I think Ubisoft heard the complaints of the first Assassin's Creed and make it less repetitive.
I understand what Capcom is doing, but this game is losing more and more buzz every month.

I agree with including new weapons, but let's not get carried away. It would take a lot of research and some military vets like myself would be upset if they get it wrong. Maybe add 3 - 4 new guns.

I'll ask this again. Where is the Killzone 2 marketing? No commercials. No advertising to date. I don't think Sony really cares about this game as people perceive.
I'm assuming this would be cheaper in the long run versus paying a cable company for TiVo.
Nintendo should be proud of it's Wii sales, but this will not continue. There are no games for the Wii and Wii Sports is the top seller. So what's next? For all we know, retirement homes across the world have been buying up all the Wiis with no intention of buying anymore games.

Judderman is right. Shareholders are holding Sony back on price cutting. I even heard that many Sony shareholders threatened to sell shares dirt cheap and bail out if Sony drops the price. These shareholders are people who know absolutely nothing about gaming so they could care less.

If Sony dropped the price of the PS3 right now, shareholders will threaten to low ball their stock and bail out. It is what it is so don't expect a price cut in the future. I don't think they will even drop the price at all in 2009.
I hope Sony can lower their ego for once and market the hell out of this game. You can't say this game will sell by itself on visuals alone. The same was said about LBP and it's definitely not breaking records. Market, market, market some more.........yet not one commercial.
