Is anyone even PLAYING Forza? You guys know it's out, right? Are any of you actually playing it though? Last I read, it sold absolutely dismally. No way GT5 couldn't sell more than it even though it's going to outsell it by at least double in the first week alone.
Natal is NOTHING more than MS's attempt at appeasing the casual crowd the Wii hit. Nothing more, nothing less. It's not for the "hardcore" gamer that enjoys GoW or Halo and if so, those games will be VERY few and far between compared to the casual games that come for it. Mark my words. I know a guy that's friends with this dude. He says it's TW for PS3 and it's badass. Open world stuff, online multi of course but "different" than what you'd expect in a good way. 60fps, HUGE environments..
This is what a PR piece from MS masqueraded as a blog? And of course they are ahead.. They CAME OUT A YEAR BEFORE THE PS3, REMEMBER? They aren't ahead by enough though. They are also turning their backs on the "hardcore", instead focusing on NATAL like it's a "new console launch", isn't that how they put it?
All you 360 diehards, the war is almost over. No need fighting it until the bitter, obvious end, go ahead and put all that 360 junk up on eBay or Craigslist now and get what you can. It's losing value very quickly with all of the hacked systems out there now and everyone already afraid to buy 2nd hand. Sell it all, the scratched games, the overheated console, everything up and use your money to get started on the superior console with games like God of War, Uncharted, Wipeout, Demons Souls...

Seriously, some consumers are just idiots for supporting a product with such a high failure rate. They almost take pride in it like beaten wives defending their husbands.
Gonna take a bit more than that. No Bluray, no AAA exclusives coming up like God of War and Gran Turismo (lol Forza..), not to mention Uncharted 1 and 2, Ratchet and Clank, god I could go on for an hour here. Pointless. MS is now aimed at the casual market, folks, show's over. Oh ok, unless you dig nothing but Halo and Gears of War sequels for the next X years.
And what of game rental services like GameFly? Why is this never brought up? They purchase a few copies and hundreds of people play them, possibly finishing them and the dev. never sees a penny beyond the original purchase. Used game sales are a scapegoat for the industry's overpriced games. Bring down the prices, the used game market loses it's wide margin's it's got. I used to make fun of Mac's also until I got an iPhone.. Then I gave a Mac a try and never will I go back to a PC again. I don't game on PC's anymore, that's a deadland now unless you play WoW (which a Mac plays beautifully). Everything I need to do for business and everyday life, I do on a Mac. It's solid, fast, and works much better than my Vista machine did. As far as expensive, it's vastly overblown how costly a Mac is compared to a PC when you tally up everything you're getting.
Its why MS changed up their whole strategy to not compete with the PS3 so much anymore and instead be some hybrid PS3/Wii competitor. They are all, "Heyyy! We can do a little bit of what the Wii can, a little bit of what the PS3 can, and we have Haaallooooooooo!!"

No.. The person interviewing him is trying very hard NOT to say, "Cmon, it's a GoW ripoff.." and the person being interviewed is trying very hard to not be called a rip off but some sort of homage almost to GoW. Oh yeah, people are making these comparisons due to the controls.. How quick it is.. But also because of the HUGE boss fights, the similar settings and art direction, the quick time events, just about everything from the game is a shameless ripoff of God of War.

You're missing the point. No, the graphics aren't bad, they just aren't what Take 10 said they were going to be, which is the crux of the issue.
STOP with the stupid promises and Photoshopped pr-release pics. Just stop with the "Our game is going to beat everything out there. DEFINITIVE." crap. That sets the bar high, not people playing the game. It's hard to go in with no expectations when the makers of the game are saying where the expectations should be. Overh...
Maybe they should, oh I don't know, spend more time MAKING the game? They pride themselves on beating GT, but who cares when it's rubbish? 3 games in 4 years.. This is what you get. As opposed to GT5 taking 4 years to make, THAT is going to do nothing but shine quality even based on the Prologue. Good things come to those who wait. Quality takes time.
That's why Forza is half assed and arcadey and GT5 has taken the time to ensure everything is perfectly modeled, including the tracks and the handling, noise, interior on all 1000 cars is perfect. That takes time.
Their target demo doesn't give two craps about HD, they know it, the sales show it, and there is no need to spend extra money on things your majority demographic doesn't use. I'd say the 360 not including Wireless 802.11 and a HD in every unit was an even bigger misstep. Their demographic WANTED wireless and HD's.
