Technically the vita came out when technology still hadn't reached its sweet point, the switch does. NS uses a SoC with arm cpu and desktop rated gpu. Which makes porting games from other platforms a much easier task.
Companies will be right where the money is. Making old exclusives available on PC not only helps incresing revenue for thoae games, but also helps prolonging the player base, attract new players and encourages people to buy new consoles for sequels.
Everybody wins.

Well I would like to see Resident Evil 2 and 3 Remake, RE8, Re7, Dark Souls 2&3, Sekiro, Nioh Collections... and other quality singleplayer games on Switch. With current techs in SoC, it is highly possible that a new Switch Pro could handle those games like hotcakes. Grindy games like Souls or Nioh is better off playing on handheld for people like me.
