There's also a lot of players in that part of the world, hah. Plus it's hard for Western games to launch in China. Lots of censorship/filters/regulations on foreign companies.

Agreed, Solid game, but it's still early in the game's development to be too critical. War Thunder did what War of Tanks did and more in such a short amount of time.
Good point. Tera is one of those games that actually make sense for consoles. The actiony combat works well on a controller.
I believe they tried to sell the game, but no buyers. I think they should have tried making it F2P just to see what happens. If they were able to get a lot of new players (as f2p) they could have raised more $ from investors.

There's a lot of money to be had in free to play. I wouldn't be surprised if they end up making a lot more profit.
I personally can't believe so many people still pay for WoW. There are a lot of awesome free alternatives.
Good argument, but I think stand alone PC is the best. They'll be a PS3 / Xbox360 emulator soon.... And it's legal to purchase games and play them on an emulator.
