But read the article folks.

The article is about damage in "GT:HD", and how the blogger wishes it was in so people wouldn't ride walls to get faster times.

It says nothing about damage and GT5. The writer is just twisting information and making an "ass"umption. Or he's miss informed about what GT:HD is supposed to be (ie not GT5).

Here's a few quotes....

"Although we’re not ready to implement damage until the...

...good to see their on the up and up about this. Me and my buddies still love the crap out of this game.

It's the PS3's Mario Kart, great fun to come back to between other games.

We've had this conversation a few times in the office (we're VFX artists). Eventually some company is gonna release a game in 480p with visuals that will be out of this world.

.....remember the thing that makes SD TV and regular DVD's look like crap are compression. Thats why you see an almost (what we call) Jpeg artifacting when viewing them on clear HD TV's.

The game would not have this artifacting.

While the 360 is more ergonomic, it kinda locks you into a set position. Ideal for some games but not for others.

...the SIXAXIS alows you to get "over" on the buttons makeing it feel better for many different game types.

Platformers, Sports...ect.

Sony pushing "user created" content through Home itself, Little Big Planet, Singstar etc.

The reasons i find game 3.0 significant is because Sony now has a platform (in Home) that users can meet, exchange and share all the content thats mentioned in the article above easily.

Until now Mod's have solely been the domain of the computer geeks. Willing to search down and figure out how to patch them in.

This brings it to the masses.

I own the TurboGrafx version of all of these titles, i'll give you the rundown....

Dragons Curse = Decent. Actually Wonderboy 3 on the Sega Master System. Change forms to progress further/solve puzzles 6.5/10

Shockman = Poor man's Megaman. Floaty controls, a few side scrolling shooter sections. Looks kinda nice in screen shots but it's a stinker. 3/10

Bonks Revenge = Awesome sequel to Bonks adventure. Once of the few games i would recommend easily....

I guess i can understand that. I'm just looking at it from a different prespective.

But when i see you guys playing this game, i swear that if you gave me a few weeks i could get you up and running on a real guitar!!

...the 3 or 4 times i've played the game, i can just pick it up and follow the music on screen to almost prefection. There is a more of a relation between the two than people realize.

EDIT: I'm not saying there's anything with wrong wi...

Don't you guys channel that enthusiasm into learning real guitar!!

I'm sure that in the amount of time some kids have spent playing this game, they could have taught them self how to play for real.

...and yes i do play.

Pop it off and there is just "one screw" between you and whatever size HDD you want.

As long as it's of the 2.5inch (ie standard Notebook) variety

Thats one "very" slick, well worded press release right there. Pushed all the right buttons but never crosses that line.

...Hell, he even throws a smooth backhanded compliment at MS for helping them (and the industry) in "..adopting universal standards in the area of high definition gaming that will benefit game developers and ultimately the end user"

There is actually the same ammout of foliage in that shot of the path, the camera is just at a slightly different angle.

.....but look at the white structure in that shot, in the 360 only half of it has been drawn in.

Both look nice though, with the PS version edging it out in texture quality. Look at the bricks on the wall behind the king for an example.

I don't have to blow $500 to play an inferior version on the 360.

;)

Motorstorm smokes this visually though.

....nice to finally see the fruits of the "Edge" development tools.

The same thing goes for all online shopping in general. But there are still billions of dollars being spent.

...the difference here being a navigateable virtual store. I find myself wandering the isles at many of the big box stores finding things i didn't even know i wanted, or keep forgetting to pick up when i was there. You know, impulse purchases.

This facilitates the same experience in a online shopping environment.

...like i said, retailers ar...

All of this interest means Home has certainly struck a few chords. A good sign that it will really take off in the future!

Can't wait to visit the virtual BestBuy or Walmart.

....seriously though. Good news.

The PSP has become a really great system that never gets the credit it deserves.

Time to take notice.....and time for a juicy price cut! No less than $50 i'd say.

...the SIXAXIS control in this game is amazing now that i'm used to it.

It's an great option for those without the DFP2. Or like me, don't want to haul it out of the crawl space everytime i wanna do a few laps.

You'll get about a 1/2 hour of battery life.

MS can't make hardware to save their lives.
