I know PS3 owners don't usually buy games like 360 owners, but if there was ever a game you should buy -- its this one. Even if it is just going to sit on your counter, you should buy this game to support Sony. Show that your console of choice is worth a damn -- unless you are lucky enough to own both like me ;). Buy this game and spread the word!!
Sony is a business!! It doesn't make sense to let the demo out to every person that wants to try it. Then a person who was in the middle would either pre-order or say killzone sucks. I think you are just a little impatient. Sony and GG want you to get hyped up enough to pre-order the game and they want everyone who didn't pre-order to be waiting on the ends of their seats ready to buy the game because they dont know how it plays, especially when they start advertising Killzone.
The guy at the bottom of the article said it right. Square-enix is trying to create a money war. That is why Last remnant has no PS3 date, star ocean 4 not confirmed for PS3, Infinite discovery, etc.
Basically in my head, Square-enix told sony they need money. Sony said they dont pay for exclusivity and then Microsoft jumped on the opportunity. Sony didnt want or didnt have the money to hold exclusivity. And the fact that square left the sequel (FF13 versus) as 'PS3 exclus...

everyone knows Nintendo didnt win. They showed some new gadgets and about 3-4 games. PS3 has shown numerous exclusives including the ones that were "supposed" to be multi-platform (Unreal Tournament, MGS4, Haze), and Killzone will most likely be Game of the Year for E3. Even the viewers thought they were watching a CG until they realized it was gameplay. Basic point.. PS3 won hands down regardless of what polls say (polls are just opinion anyway). Wait til the end of E3!!

Not only does the 360 have more units but GTA is a PS exclusive that they now get. Of course this would be the reaction. If they did this with Halo, PS3 would have more pre-orders.
Public E3 was the most anticipated day for gamers. All the choas, hype and showcases drove the event. I think E3 is going to get a wake up call and return to their old ways in a couple of years (maybe nxt year)
Good move Sony!!! They beat XBox360 to the price drop and they did it before E3 when they show off all their games showing that PS3 is making E3 about their games this year instead of their system.
Everybody, a price cut is coming. It's most likely going to be a couple weeks after E3. Sony is a business corporation and they understand that they need more units sold immediately, especially for this year. PS3 Home, Heavenly Sword, Warhawk, Lair, Firmware Update 2.0, PSP White, etc. What better way to sell your products then to price cut so ppl are more likely to buy new games and experience new features.
The only reason I think they wont announce it is because of XBox360...
Everyone is aware that Sony needs to keep its exclusives. They shouldn't be losing titles like Assassin's creed, gta4, etc. But i dont think Sony has to be so agressive to "bribe" a gaming company to get a game on their system. And as for 360, it'll have to step up and possibly get blu-ray drives. The original reason GTA4 wasnt going to go on 360 was because they couldn't put all the data on regular DVD discs, which is another reason 360 got a downgraded version of the game.
I'm almost tired of all this comparing stuff. First off, let me say i agree with a lot of this stuff he says, but you gotta stop being so bias.
For one, you really cant compare games the 360 are putting out now to PS3 because the PS3 is only half a year old. If the 360 and PS3 were launched at the same time (Nov 2005)PS3 would of won the game battle of exclusives at this point(Gears of War didnt even come out by this time). And I'm not bias, i own a 360(that broke) and a PS3...
Playstation better keep their exclusives if they plan on making a comeback. MGS4 is an unlikely to be on both consoles. As for FF13, never gonna happen. Only time will tell.. E3 is on the way
