yep. ivy bridge cores +larrabee cores +22nm tri gate 3d transistors + MAYBE avx2 = MAJOR processing power, power efficient,flexibility(cpu that can aid the gpu) relatively ok die size(compared to ibm and amd) and of course x86 architecture which means it will be a breeze to code for even easier than the 360.
ibm powerpc architecture as well as amds cpu architecture haven't improved nearly as much as intel has over the past few years and intel is also a step ahead of them...

that has been the case since 2006. yes a 2006 high end pc is more powerful than both consoles combined EVEN bulletstorm and bad company 1(not even 2 or 3) DESTROY all console games in the graphics department. what does that tell you ? by the way EVEN a 2006 high end pc can max out bulletstorm

all out ? from a hardware stand point its only as powerful as 6 year old high end pcs(ps3/360) but from the controller perspective I'd say they are indeed going all out. thats the only part of the wii u thats inovative

you can build a bleeding edge pc for 900 bucks that will deliver at least 25 times the graphics performance of consoles. you can also build a high end pc for cheaper than that, that will also destroy consoles. its gotten to the point that even ENTRY level pcs would destroy ps3 AND 360 combined. instead of adding blu ray to ps3 if sony had used the money to change the ps3s gpu to even an 8800gt can you just IMAGINE how good ps3 exclusives would look ? an 8800gt...
what amazing things ? bulletstorm pc looks better than ANYTHING on ps3. crysis 1 MEDIUM (not even high or higheest)settings looks better than ANYTHING on ps3(that was a 2007 pc game by the way), farcry 2(that doesn't even look nearly as good as crysis 1)destroys ps3 exclusives in the graphics department lol even a core 2 duo can emulate ps2 perfectly and even crank up resolution to 1080p and STIL run at full speed something the ps3 cell cannot do or ever wondered why launch ps3s included...
