Yeah, I'd love to play this game, it looks great, but it's selling for like $40 new, $35 used. I don't have that much. =\ Same for Uncharted, I played it and it was awesome, but I can't buy it (I borrowed it), it still costs around $50 new, $40 used. So not fair! Why aren't they greatest hits??
This is true: I think most girls aren't into games because they don't play them early on, and then find them uninteresting later, because they're into "girly" things. I myself started playing on an Atari and my dad's old apple, games like Joust, Dig Dug, and Q-bert. (There were other Atari games, but I don't remember the names.) Then we got a Genesis, my sister, brother, and I, and we all played Sonic, though I think me and my brother played more than my sister. Then we got a PS1, a...
I wanna replay FF8 and FF9! =)
3-1 is so scary....and 5-1 is pretty creepy too. I haven't even gotten to 3-2 or 5-2 yet... =(
It's difficult for several reasons.... Let me try to explain. I chose a thief as my class the first time I played it. (I too imported the game, Chinese/English version, bought off Ebay.) It was fun, evading was really easy, and my dagger, though maybe not too strong, still worked fairly well. The problem was, I took a lot of damage. Even the crappiest enemies had a chance to kill me if I wasn't being careful. I did my best to evade, since blocking wasn't too good with my stamina being too low...
I really hope it comes to the PS3. I don't own a Wii and I won't be owning one for a while. I don't have the money to just buy a Wii for one game. I already own a PS3, and MH would look amazing on it..... Not saying it won't be great on the Wii, but I don't have one. I'm holding out hope for Capcom's "never say never" now.... =(
The only way Monster Hunter on the PS3 would be better than Demon's Souls on PS3 is ease of friends playing with you. Yes, I know you can play Demon's Souls with other people, but I've been trying to summon my friend as a Blue Soul, and he's been trying to break into my game as a black phantom-because he's so nice... He'd probably kill me too-but we've had no luck. I've only played with random people. And while it's still fun and all-I love Demon's Souls-I would really like to be able to play...
Umm.... You know Starcraft is for PC only, right? It came to the N64 once, but it wasn't that great of a port. Just because a game is good doesn't mean it has to be involved in the PS3/360 war.....
Import it. I'm playing it right now. =) Though it's very difficult, it's also pissing me off.... But still fun! Try ebay, that's where I bought two copies. Chinese/English version. The handbook is in Chinese, but the quick guide is in English, and everything starts in English, the voices, the subtitles, the menus. It's worth the price, especially if you can find someone who's not selling it overpriced. I paid $65 each, which is what I would pay if it were selling here in America. =)
I'm glad it's doing so well, it looks like this is a great game. I really would have bought it the first week, but my $65 went toward importing Demon's Souls instead..... That game is awesome!! Even if it's insanely hard. =)
All I saw from that article: "Starcraft 2 out this year". Yesss!
Yeah, I never read any of his stuff, I'm more into Frank Herbert and Ray Bradbury. But I've seen his name on the shelf at Half Price. I'll never waste money on them, though. =\
He was a science fiction writer, actually.
Yep, the demo sucks... At least, I hated it. I downloaded it thinking it would be like Sacred, but no luck. I was tricked. =(
I really hope they do this, alternate between Fallout and Elder Scrolls. I absolutely loved Oblivion, as my first Elder Scrolls, and I put ~200 hours into it. (I still haven't done everything possible yet.) Fallout 3, however, I only played ~25 hours. =\ I've been wanting to play Morrowind, hearing how it was much better than Oblivion, so maybe that will tide me over until Elder Scrolls V.
Yep, Beyond Good and Evil is on Steam. It was on sale with Dark Messiah and Far Cry 1, which I bought for Beyond Good and Evil and Dark Messiah. But DM wasn't as good as I hoped (so far anyway), and I haven't had a chance to play BGaE. But I definitely will as soon as finals are over. =)
Shadow of the Colossus I've seen at Fry's Electronics many times, but I am unable to play it, having no PS2. =(
These games are great! I've put more hours on Monster Hunter PSP games (MHF, MHF2, and MHP2G) than any other PSP game I own. (500+, I think.) The learning curve is a bit steep, but play it for more than a few hours, and you'll start getting into it. But, I can understand that it's not for everyone.
Still, can't wait for Monster Hunter Unite! =D
Sweet, Joust!! I miss my old Atari. =(
Hahaha!!! Hilarious as always! But yeah, I do agree... It's just like real life (except you have to sit through work in real life instead of zipping through it), but on a computer. Even though I know that, I still find the Sims fun. Not sure why..... =\
