Let me ask you this, why didn't they delay the game so the developers could fix the title? Why is it that other companies during this pandemic have delayed their product because of this but not Activision? The developers don't decide the release date, the publisher does. These games are released in cycles, every year, from alternating development studios, and after what happened with Sledgehammer and the global pandemic Activision decided to release a game this unfinished. How is that...
Absolutely not, the game caused 35 crashes during my 25 hours of playing the game. Tell me? How can you judge a game, or any product, without ever using it? I'm generally curious because a beta is a testing period that is not the finished product.
A lot of people here are saying this game is not a 35 without reading my full review so here is why:
The game is unfinished. I've spoken to over 20 people before writing this about the technical stability of this game and I'm not alone. Several people have reported their Xbox Series X crashing and some even requiring factory restarts to make the system work again. Same for PC and PS5 users, crashes, and net code problems. This is a $70, not $60, for PS5 and Xbox Ser...
You make it sound that the glitch is a minor thing. This isn't a character walking through a solid object, this was a literal bug where the only resolution, and this stated by The Coalition on their official Twitter account, is to restart the entire game. And everything that happened from that glitched moment to the last checkpoint is gone. It's a good game and I highlighted that but for a AAA developed and published game a major issue like that is unacceptable. Just because something...
It could've been much more but clearly needed more time to fix all the technical issues.
I see a lot of comments about why I included the various HD remakes as a separate game. The reason being the "HD Collection" included a massive visual and frame rate update to the trilogy that greatly changed the experience from the originals. The DmC: Definitive edition, while supported better graphical quality, wasn't a big change in comparison to the original and thereby didn't pick it as a separate game. However, putting the HD Collection's gameplay side by side the ...
I just want Kingdom Hearts III, after nearly a decade of development I just want to play it.
It's a good game, although easy. If you enjoy Pokemon games I'm sure you'll like this one.
Him and his entire team made an outstanding game. Just finished it, utterly incredible.
Wow, that's so clever. Whoever did that, good job.
Glad someone did something. Good job modding community.
Hellblade is a psychological horror action-adventure video game.
I would pay $50 for this game. It's a fantastic single-player adventure and has such an incredible story.
Not surprising. After Star Wars Battlefront it was clear what their intentions were.
It's a massive deal. Retailers are bound to release games on specific dates to ensure fair competition, this is why retailers cannot sell the game even if they have it in stock until the street date. By doing this they're making it unfair for other retailers who are following the rules and waiting for the street date. Doesn't matter if it's triple-a, indie, or consoles.
Being a professional gamer, living the dream.
One word: Overwatch
Yea they do, DLC has become a norm to gaming. Nintendo is late to it but other companies have been doing it for years such as EA and Ubisoft. I applaud Nintendo for not doing this a long time but you cannot fault Nintendo for doing this now. Games are much more expensive to develop now and sold copies aren't enough.
Are amiibos expensive forms of DLC, yes. But last time I checked Activision has been doing the same thing for years with Skylanders, the difference here be...
Maybe Activision will decide to make a Spyro remastered game now.
Sounds like the executives at Activision really know how to give you some great action when you bend over for them. I honestly feel bad for you, I genuinely do. If you say releasing a game that constantly crashes, as reported by not only me but dozens and now rising to hundreds of people on YouTube, Reddit, and other social media channels, then you're either incredibly blind or care so little about QA that you'd be happy with a game that has a title screen that says Call of Duty and s...
