Yes and yet they predicted 3 mil by the end of this year and analyst predicted 4mil. So when and if the report is in the millions, will your next response be constraints or MS lying about numbers to investors? How come the same thing isn't said about Move? Because it is slim. I just upgraded my Dec 05 360 to the new 360s and about to take my 80gig PS3 to Gamestop and get the $200 credit to go towards a slim. New warranty is one reason and I don't care about backwards compatibility. It plays BR movies as the previous games and it plays all the PSN and PS3 games I have purchased for it. Don't personally care about how many USB ports since I only used 2 at a time to charge my controllers anyway.
The problem has been in all types of electronics. See some of you don't think at all before you type with this nonsense. Laptops and computers fail due to improper heat build up in the case or someone sat their laptop on the couch or carpet. A console sitting with no room on either side of it for heat to escape or room temperature isn't at the right setting along with all other components creating heat doesn't help. This is no different than a laptop shutting down due to overheating. Good they have this in than nothing at all.
It does not have a new boot screen I got mine today and it boots up the same as the previous models. That did look nice and maybe down the road it will change but it is the same for now.
