Since when does Nintendo decide at what price Best Buy, or any other retailer, sells their hardware? You think Sony had anything to do with this? Most likely it's because Best Buy has a shit ton of these in stock (my local store does - it's where I got my Destiny bundle last month) and they need to move them. Sony gets paid whether Best Buy sells these at $449.99 or $99.99.
$41.99 for Shadow of Mordor?! I can get Shadow of Mordor on PC right now for $18.38 if I want:

Hate to break it to you, but you lost ownership of your games the instant consoles incorporated online into their design.
Edited to add:
You just own an expensive coaster that allows access to them.
Barack Obama is NOT a "celebrity".
Ninja Theory have a limited budget for Hellblade and the PS4 has the largest install base of current generation consoles. Depending on how well it does they can then decide whether to port it over to PC and Xbox One. Common sense really.

I'm curious to see how the over-the-shoulder camera perspective works in combat.
@King Nezz
Games are like ships: if they're not complete before they launch, they're going to sink, no matter how many "patches" you try to apply.
@JEECE
I know, right? It's a nice change of pace from all the "Can 'X Game' save the Wii U?" bullshit that usually festers on this site.
"today 48% of gamers in the US are women"
I don't care what anybody says, Facebook games DO NOT COUNT!
I'm strongly considering building an entirely new rig just for this and retire the old 680. She's done her tour.
They should also follow their lead with regards to DRM.
This list begins and ends with number 10.
I love the smell of SJW desperation at night.
I wonder how they'll react when they discover these "death threats" are in fact fabricated ploys for sympathy.
Noice!
Cool.
Agreed. Having free DLC and no DRM makes it worth the extra wait.
And yet it wins Game of the Year for most sites. Go figure.
Thank you for admitting that you're a goddamn worthless parasite.
If you're playing the game, and you didn't pay for it (and you didn't receive it as a gift), you're in the wrong. PERIOD.
Pay up.
Screw Amazon.

What kneon said.
Edited to add:
I think the Wii U could really use a price drop, and I'm saying that as someone who bought it on launch day two years ago. $249.99 would be the sweet spot, and would really boost sales, in my opinion.
