Shouldn’t worry too much he’s been at it on this for 7 years and guaranteed he will hire a few folks when that 2 million wishlist money starts coming in.
I quite like Fallout 4. In comparison to say, Fallout 3 and New Vegas, the sense of exploration was not necessarily lost but changed. My favorite parts of 3 and NV were the exploration required to find the coolest and rarest of items and weapons etc... There are some in 4 sure, but the focus kind of went toward building good weapons and armor, as opposed to finding them through exploration.
I’ve had pubg for years. Never paid for it. If you caught it at the right time when it came out it was free, even before it eventually went f2p. But technically probably paid.
For every person who says they hate GaaS, there are 25 people who have never heard the term or don’t care. That’s why there are always more.
I always thought 343i was the halo killer…
It’s going to be 3rd person in several parts. Obviously the cutscenes. But there will also be traversal parts that are 3rd person.
What a backhanded compliment. Well done. Your comment is a bit of a turn off, but it’s an opinion, so I applaud this.
I see a lot of issues people take with some of the things Konami chose to do (or not do), but as one or two people said I think Konami knows what they are doing. MGS 1 came out when I was like 10. The next one a few years later. I played them all, but I am very excited to go back after 20 years to play these games with a different perspective on life. I’ll probably understand more. Be more patient in different scenarios. Things like that are why they are selling this.
As a whole I enjoy the game ok. My whole issue is that I was just looking for fallout in space, with the drive to explore that comes along with a fallout. Specifically in exploring planets. And my first survey mission I was pumped…. For about 10 minutes. I’m not mad at the game as much as I am disappointed by all the many great ideas in the game (there are several) being given about 25% of its potential. If every great idea in here was fully fleshed out, this would have been that masterpiece ...
I’ve seen this a few times, but I just don’t understand the complaint. There are definitely an amount of load screens, but I can get through 3 load screens in under 10 seconds. So can everyone else because this is very likely the reason an SSD is required. I feel like people forget when a single load screen would take over a minute. More if it was not optimized. It feels a lot like complaining because you have nothing better to do. Then again, maybe you don’t so good luck with it!
Good lord, how much were you paid for this review?
You do realize that you are still paying for it? Right? You do understand how subscriptions work? Instead of a one time pop of money you give them access to your bank account on a monthly basis. Oh, you were going to cancel after a month but forgot? Easy $15 for Microsoft no matter what you do.
The title of this article is misleading, if it’s going to be available on PC, then it is not Xbox console exclusive.
The first decent showcase from Xbox in the last 5-7 years and the Xbots are falling all over themselves to proclaim Microsoft is just killing Playstation. I’ve said it before, I own every console plus PC. My Series X simply collects dust and will continue to do so because even the one good game coming out I’d rather play on PC. If the series X looks like a brick and walks like a brick, it’s probably a brick.
I still much prefer single player experiences. However, with myself purchasing every years iteration since 2013, I think the single player becomes less and less appealing over time, given the nature of the type of game it is. They can update it, but it’s essentially unchanged for several years now. It’s the competitive (most of the time) feeling of online play that keeps the developers leaning into it all. Or I could be totally wrong, but that’s life.
The only problem with it being so user friendly is there are no games to use it with. I have had game pass for a year and still don’t turn my Xbox on. I wish they would give me a reason to honestly, I look at it with sadness as I turn on my PlayStation.
Most ridiculous thing I’ve heard. Just cut out a multi million console install base because they are mad? Money talks every time. BS
The lock picking issues depend on when you played. Early versions were obtuse, completely unforgiving, and super hard. I played through again within the last month after beating it two years ago, and the lock picking is now dead easy. In fact it went from me having the same feelings as you into being one of my favorite activities.
Nope. Don’t want that. I’ve got enough real world problems. Thanks though.
My modded save is working fine. Perhaps it’s not a blanket issue.
