i willing to bet most people that think gears2 MP is broken are people that haven't played it ever or people that only played the first few months. its good now, my most played game.
so much more control than gears1, if you don't agree learn to wallbounce and work as a team. the only time you'll see a laggy/glitchy game is when some walfare player with a shitty ISP gets host and that isn't very often. last friday i had maybe 3 laggy matches out of 50+

look at godofwar3, gt5, killzone2, FFXIIIvs, last guardian all these were/have been hyped years before release.

FFIV, my first rpg and it is still my favorite. no amount of CGI/belts/buckles/zippers will change that.

seriously the beta didn't impress me, there is a reason why KZ isn't a popular franchise. it's trying to wedge its way into a overcrowded FPS market that already has established fanbase in CoD.
even sony's first party studios are going after the same customer. killzone, resistance and mag. all it means are lackluster sales when you have to advertise 3 separate games for one genre.
at least we know the next xbox will have backward compatibility unlike the ps4. i expect the same thing thing that ended up happening this gen, a super expensive ps4 with BC that will be abandoned for cheaper SKU's. Guaranteed the ps4 won't use CELL either resulting in vastly different hardware configurations.
I expect a new xbox in winter 2012. they can also keep the 360 around for casuals/kinect and a cheap alternative to the new system.

i have done tests with multiplat demos on psn/xbl. every time the download will finish much faster over Live. not to mention the installation adds to the wait.
