Meh. Never could get into comic/superhero stuff. Looks like a quality game for those who are fans though.

I bought ps5 at launch, then when ms bought zenimax I knew what the deal was so I grabbed a X. Only toxic keyboard warriors fuel this made up “war”.

I’m having an awesome, fun time with starfield and it’s not perfect but it’s a Bethesda game with space backdrop. It’s not revolutionary but it’s scratching that itch I’ve had since completing fallout 4.
But now Phil is letting his ego out and blabbering out the mouth like he made some super great turn around for Xbox in one day. Dude should be fearful of his job.
That’s how I always expected this game to be and I wasn’t disappointed. At 35 I haven’t wanted to go home to play a game in a loooong time.
All the little Easter eggs like a 🥔 randomly sitting on an old computer or my ship being hailed by a foreign ship asking about my ships extended warranty.

I bought it for PS3…. Beat it and shelved it.
The ship flying seems limited to just the planet orbit space which kinda seems pointless outside of dog fights. I was frustrated with the map at first but you know what after a while it reminded me of gaming before handholding and you had to actually remember where places were and discover on your own. Probably not a popular “design choice” for gaming in 2023 but I haven’t been sucked into a game like this in a very long time. Was feeling like a high school grad with my new 360.
I’ll play it tonight and form my own opinion but I didn’t over hype my expectations either. It’s a Bethesda game in space and I’m sure that’s what it will deliver.
Once BG3 comes to ps5 I’ll probably bounce back n forth between these for a while as nothing else has my interest for at least a year out.
So a game has to be a 9 or 10 to be good? If they gave it 9’s and 10’s you guys complain about Bethesda getting a free pass. A legit 7.5 and it’s all sudden a horrible unplayable waste of time..smh.
At this point why don’t we get rid of review scores all together and just go with a “buy” “don’t buy” system.
I feel ya. I have all the consoles and I think this is last gen I buy them all. It’s not even a money thing for me anymore. I’m over 35 and I don’t have time to play all these games anymore. I canceled ps+ few months ago. I don’t play online games. I still sub to gamepass but even then I’m not sure it’s totally worth it. Starfield will probably carry me into next spring to be honest and nothing first party coming to PS that interest me.

Sony should have made it connect directly to ps5 for home use. Everyone’s quality will be different and who wants to spend $200 on a handheld that stutters and buffers when your 10ft away from your console.

This is DOA. Was kinda excited about it because I could just pick up and play like a handheld ps5 in my house and take room to room as needed but being this doesn’t function like PS Vita remote play did with ps4 every users experience will not be the same. Where I like I only have 5g internet and the towers are unreliable for constant stream. Oh well Sony you almost had my $200.
I hope so. I’ll play on the X mostly but my S is my travel buddy on work trips. Hoping it’s a good experience on both.
This is the results of having gamepass as the feature pushing your content. Release games that are just good enough to keep people subbed. It looks good visually but this isn’t the “going back to it roots” anyone asked for.
Red Dead on switch is pretty cool tbh. But it’s still a pretty old game for $50.
I’ve got about 35hrs in it. So far as a game I’d give it a solid 7.5. I do wish the ship travel was more fleshed out given the emphasis on base building and customization instead of “instanced” orbit zones.
However I’m having a great time with it. I only play a few hours on weekends and wish I had more time. My personal fun factor is a 9.
