If true this sounds like we will buying the right to play the game but we will not own the game. Not cool
The game looked like good fun and it will be interesting to see how they take advatage of the new Wii u controller.
I think that with some of these games that will be out on PS3 and 360 this year we will be seeing enhanced and or versions that take advantage of Nintendo's new interface. It would not make much sence to just release a port without doing that a year later. I think the question is will the Wii U enhancements be compelling enough ? Its really up to the developers to take advantage of the system so we shall see.
Its always good to have support right from the start.
This looks like a game that might be very interesting to play. A cross between my villigers and B&W ?
The game you are talking about has alreay been sold for the full retail price and gives the person the ability to play online so when that game is sold its not like the original buyer can still play it online right ? So it is not creating higher volume on the servers than what they would expect based on sales numbers. The number of copies sold is still the installed base no matter how many times the game is sold used. Something to think about.
I played ICO and loved every minute of it. I have not yet played SOTC although I have it ? I wonder how long it might be before this collection comes out ?
When it does come out I will buy it.
I am really looking forward to this game.
it would be hard for me to resist a vice city, San andreas HD on one disk. Maybe they could revamp some things like the shooting mechanics

You know with all the speculation about ME 2 coming to the PS3 and how EA loves multi-plat games so they rake in the cash.
I wonder when the ME 2 on-rail shooter will be announced for the Wii ?

I can tell when I have played a demo more than a few times that the game will be a good buy for me. Uncharted comes to mind as does Infamous. Of course there is a long line of games that I bought for the PS2 and the xbox because of the demo disks included in the mags.
If a demo does not impress I very seldom will go back and try the finished version.
The size could be a benefit for many people but I think its a move to grab an older audiance in more ways than just larger size screens to make it easier on the eyes. Someone mentioned above me about all of the applications that could work better with larger screens like books or internet. Applications like these could draw a larger adult following.

I liked the review and the focus on the single player aspect.
The multiplayer is going to be a blast Im sure but I will be playing this in a single player style too so I needed to know if that part of the game would be top notch and by the sounds of this review it sounds like it is. Day one buy for me :)
I remember filling out the survey and some of the other options like a key chain. I picked this very option and I guess alot of other people did the same thing. Its so cool to think that Sony really listened to thier fans and put this togther. Great news !
Retro is a very talented group so what ever they are working on I will most likley be buying.
This is not good no matter who is proposing it. Every body needs to wake up and look at what is happening here ! The more control they take the less freedom we will have.
What if one has just subcribed in say the last 3 or 4 months would they be able to take advantage of this deal too ?
When I looked at the list the thing that stood out to me was the possiblity of Tactics, Wild Arms 2 and Fallout 3 DLC all in the same day ? That would be amazing.
I thought the game is well done and fun to play. I agree with the thoughs above me that Nintendo should take what they have done and put some more time into it and then release it either on Wii Ware or the DS or both.
