This game for me looked dated and extremely meh.
It had that old Dynasty Warriors look to it in terms of graphics and the gameplay just wasn't doing anything exciting. This was basically an expanded Nioh which was also bland, at least part one was, never played 2.
The writing was on the wall for a while now.
Pretty much the top and only 10 games worth having a PSVR 2 for (some are questionable) and with Sony halting production I don't think they'll be 10 more from Sony any time soon.
You're lieing to yourself if you don't think Sony isn't actively bringing their library to PC. Every other month we get an announcement of one of their "exclusives" being ported to PC.
Sony bringing everything to PC, MS bringing everything to PC, PC doesn't charge for multiplayer, at this point why on the blue earth would anyone invest in consoles, especially next gen consoles?
Seriously, the only one left standing in terms of one place to play their games is Nintendo.
That's funny!
Seems like if you're working on anything for Sony right now, it's a death sentence.
Yeah, it's almost as if they blew their budget and development time on all those previously released single player games which is why they have nothing for the next couple of years.
...Baffling is right
GaaS didn't bring them to this point. It was their cinematic, emotional, single player games with a budget of 300 million plus.
Exactly , no idea where this "diversity" played the part. Especially when this is happening across the board
MS laying people off because they bought a studio doesn't absolve them of ending people's livelihoods, people who put in years of their lives and never asked for that merger to happen.
This whole industry needs to be held accountable. Over hiring, over spending and such.
It was an expensive niche device that provided very little outside of its gimmick and in terms of experience.
The fact that Sony wasn't even supporting it with their own big name studios should have told people everything.
Damn, London Studios is shutting down, Sony VR going PC, layoffs across the board and this is despite console sales which goes to show that this industry needs to change because the cost of AAA development is just way too ridiculously high.
Looks like those Insomniac leaks were on point
Nothing about this game looks appealing. It seriously looks like another game with a DC skin thrown on top.
Agreed, the emphasis on dysfunctional families was not only beaten over your head but was absolutely weak. It was definitely a sharp and wild departure from what I loved about the original God of War games.
Cool to see him grow old and calm down but there should have been a return to old Kratos by the second game.

Check out something called game design. You know how developers add different game mechanics to switch things up. I'll give you an example...
Candy Crush does a lot more than just match three, why? One, to keep players engaged and two to break up the monotony of just being a Bejeweled type clone.
So again, saying breaking up the monotony doesn't imply that I mean this is bad or a bad thing to do. This is something a lot of games nowadays just do a...
Heard this game is super fun
Seeing that design just hits home that this was never intended to be a DC game.
They just can't seem to get it right with this IP
