If you're holding out on Fallout 3 because you didn't like Bathesda's Oblivion, don't! Fallout 3 is what I've been waiting for, what I knew they were capable of. It has it's irks, but it's amazing nonetheless. Simply for the fun factor and co-op experience (which I'm big on), I wouldn't hesitate to buy Left 4 Dead over both of those titles, and this is only from the demo. I can't wait!
Finally, an awesome zombie co-op. Boomer scared the bejesus outta me.
I think he's simply saying the game deserves more credit than a high 7, which is why he doesn't regularly read IGN.
