EB games stores around the area I live are a joke anyway. They have huge PS3 and PSP sections and only small areas for Xbox 360, Wii and DS. Go into one of these stores on a busy day and there will be one person looking at PS3 games and large groups all trying to get near games for the other consoles and have to wait to be able to get near.
PS3 is the least popular system in Australia.
Exactly, if she wasn't good looking or was a bloke no one would of thought twice about it. But because she is an attractive female, then she must be using that to her advantage... Very sexist way of thinking.
Bring the power back to the gamer. We should be able to choose if we want blood or not, some games used to have the choice in the options.
If parents dont want their kids seeing blood, let them set it to green or no blood at all, but give us the choice to make ourselves. So sick of being told what I can and cant have/see.
'incredibly cool looking Wiimote that no doubt almost any Wii owner would want. The only question is, how can we get one? '
Someone has got to have swapped the images, cause I ain't seeing ANYTHING that could or should be discribed that way!
Hmm, imagine a Wii version, they might be able to put the motion control to a...interesting use.
Games cost too much in Australia as is, sod off Atari.
There is only one choice, buy them all.
Thanks for that link, I needed a good laugh.
Those japanese costumes are so good. As for the American ones... no comment..
"My plug caught on fire"
Doesn't even say it was the gamecube at fault. Poor kid and all, but some fire safty would of been good, unless he had the power cord wrapped around his body while playing....
Microsoft said thay were going to be adding DivX a long time ago, this is not new news, they are not copying. Both Sony and Microsoft are doing the same move and both would have had this in the planning stage for a long time.
Great to hear someone that understand what this really means. Its not about out selling the other consoles, its about the Xbox 360 actually selling in Japan, quite a feat in itself for microsoft.
I agree, bubble up! It may not be to the extent of the Wii where nearly every game uses it, but it will be an option.
The question I always ask is, when do the graphics reach that line where there isn't really anywhere left to go? Atari to NES, NES to SNES, SNES to PS1/PS2/Dreamcast/Xbox = all mindblowing steps.
Xbox/PS2 to Xbox360/PS3 also a step up, but greatly helped by HD. Soon we wont be able to see any big change, so unless the way we play games chages who is going to be ...
Seperate so microsft can get more money? ok the wi-fi thing I agree should have been built-in as standard, but dont go pointing at microsoft for having things seperate, they are all guilty of this, but at the same time, do it for a reason. PS2 only had 2 control ports when N64, dreamcast, Xbox all gave four. Sony sold a seperate multitap. The PS Eye is also a seperate buy.
Any company that looks at a feature as not 'required' will sell it seperate to reduce the price of the inital p...
Microsoft wont really have a choice. They will go with which ever format wins and if that happens to be blu-ray then that is what it will have to have. I just hope the format war is over by then...
People actually read your site? wow, had no idea... actually, that explains what the 12 year old fanboys do when they arn't posting their fanboy crap on N4G.
Why is it ok for microsoft to use DivX and not sony? I think they both have good reasons to adopt the codex as they both are also a media centre. That would be why Sony wants to add DivX, to increase its range as a media centre, I doubt it has anything to do with Blu-ray.
I do like the idea of DivX on the PS3, but I do have to say that Sony needs to concentrate on the gaming side of the console more instead of the media side.
Yeah, the problem was parts (I believe the gpu?) was becoming detached from the motherboard, which would suggest solder issue and a build that was unable to cope with the heat it was producing.
One bit in the article that sticks out to me:
including parts procurement, assembly and integration, testing, and final box build.
Testing? if these units were truly tested to conditions that the console would face from gameplay, wouldn't someone notice the...
A game bundle instead of a BD would be a good move, promote the PS3 as an actual game console.
Somehow yes, seems people still use those overpriced stores.
