it could be a massive sequel that will have a great effect on ps3/EA relationship....
there is an easy solution for that....just create a US account and........that's it
I do not live on the US but I have a US account and I'm able to get all the stuff without any problems....
I agree with you that Sony should have the same things for all the stores over the world....even the US is missing things that are on the Japanese store....but there is a workaround so it's not a big deal

We are here for the GAMES...I mean I love my PS3...I really do....but that DOES NOT prevent me from playing MASS EFFECT on my XBOX360 ....yes I love my 360 too (I'm a very loving person so what)
People need to understand that we do not gain anything from fighting over which console is the best....in fact if you are a fanboy for any1 of the consoles you are only missing other great games on the other consoles

I have the fat model with BBC (but I have always been worried of what would happen if it goes down) I know I can always buy a PS2 slim but it is nice to only have 1 console to play all my PS games.....
