These sales have been amazing. Not on my wallet, but for games that I've been waiting a while to get. I got all 4 handheld Persona games for less than $40, Doom Classic half price, 2 Lumines games for less than $15, Tearaway for less than $15, and will probably pick up Battlefield 4 season pass since it's like $40 off (picked up the Borderlands 2 season pass too while I was at it).
Ah yes, Sony is doing great with these sales, especially with the 10% off on top of th...
These weekly sales need to stop. My wallet is hurting damn hard and my back catalog is growing exponentially.
Who am I kidding though? Time to pick up Doom Classic Complete
At this rate it wouldn't surprise me if Capcom announced they're rereleasing RE4 again, or having remastered editions of RE 5 & 6. Heck, release the entire Resident Evil canon
Sweet. This on top of the other sale going on this week, plus the 10% discount = me as a happy camper. God bless these sales on games I never expected to go on sale, not so much on my wallet though.
If anyone cares, I got: SMT: Persona 1 & 2 and 3rd Birthday for PSP, Borderlands 2 season pass, and Lumines Supernova. Couldn't be more excited, since this sale and last week's sale I got all 4 Personas on my Vita for less than $40. Good gaming times are ahead
I remember getting this game and Killzone: Liberation for free when the PSN went down back in 2011. I didn't even have a PSP at the time, and only got it cause it was a free game. I should probably download it to my Vita, since I gladly play all other LBP games
Damn, I love going to these stores. Admiring their 80-inch 4k TV demos that look better than real life :( I wish I had enough money to support them better instead of just admiring from afar. I just hope the employees find work again
Since there's no stopping the remaster train, I'd way rather see classic (or niche) games being remastered that deserve a comeback. Games like:
Shenmue I & II
Jade Empire
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 1 & 2
Rogue Galaxy
Viewtiful Joe
Baldur's Gate I & II
Black & White
Planescape Torment
A lot of these products are well known, I know the DK Bongos were used in a lot of demo kiosks back when the Gamecube was still being released. As is the Game Boy Player, that thing was the best
Why not any old Nintendo peripherals? Like the Super Scope? Or R.O.B. the robot? Or Power Glove? Or NES Max Controller? There were a ton of really obscure peripherals that came out in those days
Also with that keyboard controller, if you're dying to play Phantasy ...
Aside from on-rails shooters (which are super fun with Move by the way), the only other games I've used it for are Killzone 3 and Okami. Oh and the Move Pack for LBP2, but haven't used it for that game since beating that pack.
I'm all for the trophies, although a lot can feel like a chore (see: almost all RPG's that require hundreds of hours to get that platinum). The only trophies I flat out refuse to achieve are online-only trophies since they're a bigger chore than anything and just not worth it.
Regarding the article, I still gladly play older games that don't have any achievements. Those are some of the most fun and memorable games there are. And let's not forget the Wii U...
It's 5 pages long so I'll save you the trouble:
1. Perfect Dark
2. The Warriors
3. 007: Nightfire
4. Mario Tennis
5. Streets of Rage
God dammit Square Enix *pulls out wallet* why the hell would you release an already rereleased game collection *takes out $50* that took me hundreds of hours to 100%? *gives money to cashier* Honestly, are you guys that desperate for cash? *smiles entire way back home holding game* Smh at this shameful cash grab. *replays through entire game again*
I loved Valkyria Chronicles so much. Why they decided to release the sequel to this great game on PSP I'll never understand, since it had quite the large fanbase on PS3 at that time still.
I really wish they would re-release VC2 & localize VC3 in HD as one complete package on PS3, or even Vita. These sequels deserve more recognition, even if it is asking a little too much to have them remastered in HD
I really love my Vita, and still play it frequently (I love me some LBP). I just wish some of the PlayStation brand's more popular franchises had Vita-exclusive entries. Titles such as: Gran Turismo, Resident Evil, Twisted Metal, inFAMOUS, Metal Gear Solid, Bioshock, etc.
Companion games to popular franchises would be greatly welcomed as well (similar to the vein of Batman: Arkham Origins - Blackgate and Assassin's Creed: Liberation)
Even ports of DS...
No sign of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves? Or Red Dead Redemption? That had a way bigger improvement over its predecessor. Same with Fallout 3. I guess there's only so much you can fit in a top 5 though
You're right about the price range. I bought mine open box at a Best Buy over the summer for $99 as an impulse buy, and I'm so glad I did. With my PS Plus subscription, I've already got a ton of free (good) games to play on it to keep me entertained, of which it has done a great job at. The only problem I have with it is how big the games are, I can only fit a select few on my 8GB memory stick at a time, and with the amount of free games I've accumulated, I can't fit all o...
I don't even own an Xbox One and I preordered this game. I just couldn't resist, it looks so good
The Ico Collection - Ico & Shadow of the Colossus
The Silent Hill Collection - SIlent Hill 2, Silent Hill 3, & Silent Hill 4: The Room
The Final Fantasy Collection - Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy X-2, & Final Fantasy XII (preferably the International versions, as well as the option to play Revenent Wings after you beat XII, maybe?)
The Kingdom Hearts Collection - Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts RE: Chain of Memories, & Kingdom...
this is a great deal. even though it's been out here in Canada for quite some time now. the games i've seen included with it thus far is Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction and Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. if i didn't already own both i would buy them both in a heart beat >:( and i think there's one other greatest hits bundle but i kind of forget.
I'd wanna see:
Valkyria Chronicles
Ni No Kuni
BioShock
Folklore (actually, this game needs a sequel)
Gran Turismo
WipEout
Syphon Filter
Ninja Gaiden
A man can dream. Some of these will more than likely be released
