I put these shots up to my ps3 running the game and i dont know how they got the faded look on all of them, maybe its just my tv but the colours are much more vibrant.
The frame rate is really poor though and can become a hindrance.
try the demo at http://www.amnesiagame.com/...
i have a 3 year old phillips laptop that runs it on medium to high absolutely fine so im sure yours will.
It really is a truly scary game and im not scared easily at all. Make sure you play it in total darkness with headphones.
Wow. This level reminds me alot of the opening of resistance 2.
But man ive never seen so much on screen at one time, that lighting is phenomenal even in this poor quality.
Nice to see the voice acting has improved alot, i think rico might turn out okay in this one.
to be fair, hes a commentator on machinima and gets paid to do this stuff
i was able to download this off the EU PS store last week AND im not a member of playstation plus. Is this just me or was it actually released last week on the EU ps store?
its nice to see damage turned on, seems pretty minimal but the back bumper is hanging loose and sparks fly off when he hits another car - havent seen that before.
some unique levels and a ton of variety in the missions. As well as a killer soundtrack like the AA/ frontline one.
Atmosphere in games is a big thing for me and i think the COD games are lacking this. I remember the feeling of loneliness in the early moh games and then the orchestral score kicking in and getting the chills.
Id like to see if they can re-create this in the modern setting.
Im quite looking forward to this, but still ready for dissapointment.
When i checked my rank at 10pm last night UK time i was 500,000th.
Still it sucks how its not working, i had a blast when i could get on.
Hopefully these extra servers will be up quick so i can get back on.
I have no problem with and enjoy games like GTA, state of emergency and all the others that let you kill civilians, but theres something about this thats a bit more shocking. I guess thats the impact they wanted, but i hope there's a good reason for it.
on most the 360 version looks better but on a few the ps3 does, especially the last one.
I dont know what you call it, but the ps3 version looks more 'smokey' in alot of the pics as if the brightness has been turned up too much. And the 360 version has better contrast.
Im sure some tweaking with your tvs settings would get them looking identical. As is the case with most of these comparisons, and is why i dont trust them.
heads and shoulders above every developer.
valve does need to change abit, a new engine would be nice along with a new IP. After playing the LFD2 demo im severely dissapointed, its identical to the original, its still fun but nowhere near justifies a full game release.
And where the fish is Half-life episode 3 / Half Life 3.
- as a ps3 owner
and i started to play cod4 again in wake of mw2, and i suddenly realised i dont think i could play COD online for possibly any longer. Ive completely worn it out, and looking at the mp footage of mw2 it looks the same with more features. Im sure these would keep me entertained for a while but im also sure id get bored alot quicker than i did with the original.
I cant justify paying the increased asking price, especially when im more interested picking up ...
It made the wait for it to drop in price a little easier.
Pepsi in a plastic bottle > Coke in a plastic bottle
Pepsi in a can = Coke in a can
Pepsi in a glass bottle < Coke in a glass bottle
Believe it.
But anyhow this is good to see, hopefully the sales do the game justice.
But to be totally honest most of it was unnecessary %&$£! I mean there is no point in this article. Instead it should be looking at what Sony is beginning to do right. This is not 2007, things are picking up for the PS3, it has been getting a solid flow of quality titles for the past 1 and a half years, and the upcoming lineup is nothing short of stellar. The PS3 slim is out and not only that but its at a competitive price, and the sales show that.
I finally thought the PS3 was...
whilst being frustrated about your blatant inconsistencies, i'm more annoyed that you just spoiled a part of the plot I was looking forward to finding out about.
cant wait!
but if you think about how many miles you get out of a tank compared to how much you drive around in a videogame you're probably not going to have to fill up that much. I think it could be a pretty cool feature, its always something i have thought i would like when playing gta and similar games.
