Anyone wishing to "preview" Cerny's audio vision should check out the PS VR. Anyone who has ever played a Call of Duty game using the PSVR (I know I did) knows the night-and-day difference between using other headphones/soundbars vs (any) headphones/headsets attached to the PSVR. Cerny himself said that the 3D Tempest would be many times better than that of the PSVR.

Easy. Sony chased after Candy Crush loving casuals and didn’t concentrate on the core gamers who enjoyed the PSP.
Played the so-called "elite" game. It's really nothing more than a variant of the much maligned "QTE", If anything, it proves that Sony gamers don't just play QTE games and Xbox gamers...well, they were probably bored since they didn't have anything to play with their "Beast".
People have either forgotten, not born yet, or were too young to remember that during the 90s, the idea of “online console gaming” was a laughable concept due to the failures of Xband and Sega Saturn Net Link. Yes, VR may not yet be in a perfect state but so did the online console gaming when it first started. VR, in due time will improve as long as people are willing to support it.

Funny, every article I’ve had read said that the Xbox One’s numbers are close to 29 million and that the Ps4 to X1 ratio is 2 to 1.

Meh. MS can get the “flashiest crown” or whatever popularity title they can get. HOWEVER....

Currently addicted to the COD: BOIII Zombie Chronicles.
Why? To clean my "gaming palate" after finishing HZD. Story stuck with me for while and the ending was surprisingly a bit emotional. It reminded me of the time when I finished FFVII and I couldn't enjoy another game for a while. GTAV is next to be played (yes...I know!) but I gotta flush HZD out before starting GTAV.
So yes, the game was that good and addicting!
#1 Mistake: PSP was meant to be purely a "PS2 console on the go/road" . It was popular because it had the same quality of games you would find on its bigger brother. The Vita's role was more confused. Was it going to be competing against smartphone games or going to be like its PSP predecessor? Well, if smartphones were to "evolve into forms that can produce gaming experiences rivaling dedicated handhelds" it should have done so a long time ago. Smartphones will never, ever surpass dedicated gaming handhelds because manufacturers like Samsung will always see them as mobile communication devices first and foremost.
