halo started what all??? How young are you?? What did Halo "start" in the FPS arena?? I think peoples idea of quality in FPS is skewed...Halo wouldn't be put in the ring with any of the real FPSs like CS... Halo is good, no doubt, but its not god's gift to the FPS...not by any far stretch of the imagination..
is Vegas any good??? I was thinking about getting it, but does it set itself apart from the other 500 FPS Swat/WW1-2 games??

that he is talking out his ass....the PSN ID is a universal tag for all the games...Its my same tag in Warhawk, Resistance, Fight Night, Motorstorm...its the same thing. I dunno what his experience is, but its obvious someone who registered for more than one PSN Account (which you can do, but why you would I dont know)

You don't have individual names for every ps3 game...Its a PSN ID:....or like you call it a gamer tag...As far as the voice chat thing..I dunno I dont use that stuff...I play the games but I dont have clans from a game paging me while Im out with friends or something...

With anything people pay for, they will try to justify their purchase over the competition...Lol you never heard the folks over at CS:Source telling the people over at BF1942 that their online service sucks...But you will get World of Warcraft people defending their service over Diablo etc etc...Can you see the parallel I'm drawing?? If both of these services started out Free you wouldn't hear about this...I've yet to see the article comparing Nintendo Free Online to PSN Free Online Service.....
You know Ive been on both Live and PSN (lucky enough to have two in the apartment)...Feature wise they are very similar...The only thing about Live is at some points its easier to navigate..But they do the same things for the most part. Im looking forward to what Sony is doing with Home though, that's going to be different and may just stir the people over at Live up some.
As far as online play, for the most part its always been free PC wise..I dont like the idea of consoles ma...

Halo 3 will be a fun game...I don't doubt that, and I agree graphics < gameplay...HOWEVER, a lot of people that pre-ordered the game don't 100% agree because they are still desperately holding onto the empty hope that the final version is going to look a lot better than the Beta...While optimistic, irrelevant nonetheless because the game is still entertaining and one shouldnt concern themselves so deeply with that because the visuals of Halo 3 aren't ugly..They look a little outdated IMO b...
It was very over-hyped...The first Halo was pristine...I pray I don't see Master Chief for a 4th time, because that will get old..very quick...Thats part of what killed the Devil May Cry series for me, they milked that cow for too long...and Dante is just stale now...
But as far as that E3 maneuver..Once again I doubt it, studios don't throw these Beta's together over night...The Beta's are normally used to work out bugs and test real world conditions of the game engine etc etc...
if they market HS right it might move some consoles, it's got the God of War appeal, doesnt matter what youre into everyone likes pulling off cool stuff on the screen...But you rarely see commercials anymore for this type of stuff unless its like a Final Fantasy or something
