The fuss is the fact that it has been hacked. We are surprised because we didn't expect and are anxious to see how Sony will deal with the problem. I understand your point, it was going to happen, but unlike Nintendo and Microsoft we expect decisive action from Sony.
That's one of the most idiotically used questions these days. I can compare them to draw an understanding of the concept, I'm not likening them. Comparing and likening are not the same thing.
Just because it has been done on other platforms doesn't justify the corruption of the PSN or the piracy of games. If Geohotz had hacked your credit card details, whether you have one or not, I can't imagine you'd be so blasé. I bought my PS3 and I think I'd like Sony to battle to keep it secure as long as they can.

I'm hoping for space battles with adapted Warhawks and capital ships, destructible capital ships. It'd be epic if the walls could be blown open and players be sucked out of it before airlocks close to secure the rest of the ship.

Headsets are essential, too many games on the PSN are eerily quiet. Hopefully headsets can change that for Starhawk. I only ever made it to second lieutenant in Warhawk after about two hundred hours (I think), so I hope they make it a little easier to get points in Starhawk.
I hope this will be like Star Wars Battlefront because let's face it, that was an awesome game. A hybrid would definitely make me buy it day one, something I've only done for MGS4.
